Ok so 4/4 lifelink pro white and pro black for 3WB is very good. I get that.

Do we just ignore his other clause in most situations? Because to me it reads as the dictionary definition of "win more."
His second clause is the sizzle, the part that intrigues people to figure out ways to make it work. Will it ever be really useful? Probably not. But they couldn't just give it flying, lifelink, pro-white, and pro-black. That would be a bit overpowered. So, they make you jump through hoops to get the goodies.

It's a really neat design.

Rapid Hybridization takes care of Blood Baron well enough. Now that the standard has bumped up to four power/toughness, I can see it being used more often with all the pro this and that going on.

Also, good afternoon. :hi:

I guess we'll see Mizzium Mortars bump up in price too now that so many 4-butt creatures are going to be around.

Sideboard card in that U/B tempo deck, coming in against Sphinx's Revelations?

I also think it's funny in legacy against Brainstorm :)

I think I'm missing where this spoiler is

edit:

Oh wow that looks sweet for my gf deck.

Better than Slaughter games for that slot against sphinx's because its also a decent threat at instant speed?

I think so.

I have an outside hope, completely baseless speculation, that we'll actually get decent removal and burn in DGM and/or M14. With these protections showing up, it makes me wonder what they need protection from.
My bet is on m14 for black removal. As for burn, only the spoilers will show. I am guessing one good burn spell, because frankly the ones in this block are pretty crap (the good ones only target players, hence crap).

But plagiarize has no body. And doesn't exist in the
same standard as sphinx's revelation. :p

But honestly, I don't foresee anyone tapping 4 mana for this guy in legacy. He is purely a standard card imo.

I want to murk people with a 10/10 that is immune to removal :(
If there's one thing that is making magic, as a game, and standard, as a format, better, it is the incredible fun of unsolvable, unraceable creatures.

I just don't get who thinks such creatures are a good idea. I want to put R&D in a corner so they can think about what they've done.

Having your creatures killed or countered just isn't fun man. We just need to be slapping creatures down and whoever gets the most
out or the biggest fastest wins. Tons of fun right?

SEE ME, FEEEEEL MEEE, TOUCH ME, HEAL MEE

LISTENING TO YOU, I FEEL THE MUSIC, GAZING AT YOU, I GET THE HEAT, FOLLOWING YOU, I CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN, I GET EXCITEMENT AT YOUR FEET.

Probably not their best, but Live at Leeds is amazing, and the version on it is equally amazing.

Actually I'm contemplating on what kind of list I need to utilize Judge Judy so I can beat Red.

Cuz, y'know, I only play Red and I need to be able to beat things like her and Junk..soooo...

Ideas anyone? How can I make the sickest anti-Red Lavinia deck so I can run Khaos Deck Wins through the Gauntlet?

U/W? Esper? Bant?

Go!

@Khaos: Also add 3-4 Council of the Absolute in the sideboard. So busted against control naming [card]Sphinx's Revelation[/card].

I'm fucking around with Modern UWB Hatebears, trying to get all the cards for it. Deck is absurd against Combo.

Personally I'm partial to "Tommy"...I still have the double-album set.

Notion Thief looks like a fun answer to Sphincter's Retaliation, though the 4-slot is usually a pretty crowded place. He would be a reasonable sideboard card for BU Control...I'm so hoping black gets a scalable sweeper!

In reality, they aren't worth the time or energy you would spend flipping them off, and obviously they have no concern about quality of content. IMO your best revenge is continuing to provide quality content...somewhere else.
