Let me start off by saying thanks for all the memories.

I can't stay in my position anymore. I don't believe in this site and it's community, and it's honestly showing. I'm not producing work I'm proud of and slogging through this just isn't enjoyable. The culmination of this was reading a thread where a user asked for real life advice regarding a deeply personal, emotional, and troubling event, and between the best advice were posts not advocating the user get help and one that went as far as to condemn the thread starter.

DTR will likely never change. And I don't want it to at this point, because the people who like it and make it up would throw a fit if it did. If you like it here, keep liking it. If you hate it here, don't stay here. The hard lesson I've learned over my years here is that change is glacial and may never come; you guys really like your status quo.

Stop giving the staff such a hard time.
Even if at times misguided, they love and work hard for this site for nothing more than agita and a seldom thanks.
