not my day. Got 2 screaws in my tire, the tire went flat so quickly that part of my rim is alittle beaten up(not bent though), and the lug nuts was super tight. Lucky me I have a spare full size tire at my parents house which I'll be stopping over to get and get my full size car jack again. Thankfully they also have an air compressor there too.

I don't understand this logic. I don't want to cause drama, I just don't understand it in a symbolic logic sense. Like, for instance, if you could, say, circumvent an illegitimate ban by kicking a horse to death with steel-toed boots in less than a minute, does that make killing the horse legitimate?

What if the horse could scream?

Also, if you think that kicking a horse to death with steel-toed boots was legitimate in the first place, replace with...whatever seems illegitimate a priori.

I.e., does the ends of righting a wrong justify an act that is otherwise unjustifiable? Do two wrongs indeed make a right?

But what does mauling horses has to do with restoring my posting rights? What a poor analogy, what is the horse doing there?
did someone lost it? Is it a wild horse?

The analogy is more that you said something that upset the great leader Kimi Il Sung and got thrown in a cold and damp jail for the rest of your life. Then an opportunity to escape arises. Do you:

1) Stay in jail because rules are rules and you shouldn't evade your punishments?
2) Get the fuck of town because fuck Kim Jon Il?

It was more a hypothetical. Like if someone told you that they could sneak you into the site, but you'd have to maim a turtle, or something.

As far as the badness of the analogy goes, you said "Any means..." (emphasis added).

If scumbag states he finds any circumvention of the ban (
emphasis mine) legitimate, it does not seem like he would automatically accept the horse slaughter that is used as a means to the circumvention as legitimate in its own right. Surely, it could still be illegitimate on its own merits based on the post that has been made. The horse slaughter you posit would not be an essential part of the circumvention, it would merely be an incidental means to that end. Thus, it can still be judged on the basis of other moral imperatives. I found that to be clear from scumbag's original post
