Weekly for small periods of time (PTQ seasons), then none for long stretches.

I think what they shoul do is allow everyone to enter the event, and then split the event into several smaller PTQs (like 200-300 people) an then hopefully they wouldn't freeze so much

I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.
It should be a privilege to post here

but without modo to keep himself in the loop of competitive magic he'll have no way to input those words into the magic glowy text box that prints money for him

You could do a top 4 and then combine those 4 with the 4 from the other PTQ for a draft?

time to write more articles for Channel Fireball.
Currently waiting for feedback on the first one, hoping it got viewed enough times for me to get a better release schedule (ill be anywhere between 2-4 weeks, depending on demand). Obviously hoping for closer to 2 than 4. No DEs hurts because videos are outside that structure so that's forgone revenue now.

Who wants to co-author my next piece "Getting Bettee at Magic - Why you Should Stay the Hell Away from MTGS"?

Feels a bit sanitized; could use a bit more humor here or there. Or snide remarks. But I could just be used to your tell-it-like-it-is-ism and reading a genuine article is foreign to me. I don't know.

I'm big on tenses and such

I like 'our deck, we add, our opponent', to remove the barrier between reader and writer. We're building the deck, working through these problems.

"However, it turns out that for a single white mana, you can remove all of these problems and then get back to the fun part: beating up on your poor opponent. "

"However, for a paltry one mana investment, we can remove all of these problems and return to the task of annihilating our opponent."

or something. I could be way off base. Just something to think about.

^ unlikely to happen unless they let me do legacy. All decks in standard are almost by definition, awful. Modern is a crap format. Rest assured that if there is a deck like delver or caw blade or some such, ill play it. I honestly believe that mono R is a tier 1 deck now though.
