I was banned for threatening a ripper. It was an offhand comment that I deleted immediately, but anyone watching the thread would have seen my post. A mod saw my post and I was told that the local police and FBI was alerted to my threat and that they would be contacting me. I appealed and my post that was live for not even 30 seconds was enough to ban me for life. I couldn't help but find the whole process amusing.

So, I guess the question is, how involved in the legacy forum do you have to be for your vote to count? If Tormod is removed from the running, spooky should be investigated, having only 4 legitimate votes (one from himself) that puts Finn in the lead. A search of all of the people voting for Finn shows all 6 have at least one post in the legacy subforum this year.

Finn should win if we're disqualifying people.

Basically they shut down the forum awards under the accusations that the Gutter rigged the forum awards and then they did a several years brainstorming in the mod lounge and finally decided that they would bring the forum awards back but from now on staff would take care of rigging the forum awards. the perfect plan

I took a quick look at their Mafia-specific forum awards (it was quiet in tech. support that day) and even that was a train wreck. Some major drama about the fact that having a 'worst player' award was too mean?
..you know, in the game specifically designed to let you backstab your friends and allies, put the hooks into what others say regardless of whether it's true or not, and generally be
able to get away with being evil, telling someone there's room for improvement in their game is now too mean.
