After watching the Finals of SCG Knoxville just now, I can say definitively say it's better to take 2 from a shockland before playing a mana confluence. Naya player took something like 3 extra damage over the course of the game by playing turn 2 confluence instead of stomping ground.

How'd the stream go? I did something I never do and actually played at the Tuesday night tourney. Was supposed to test the RB brew I posted, but forget the red cards at home and instead came in 3rd with mono-black agro. 3-1 losing to burn(to the surprise of nobody). Donkey stomped all the other decks including get a 5 for 2 off of double bile blight as the highlight of the night.

Probably not. I heard melee scene is having another mini-resurgence and that the smash series(unsure if melee or what) got picked up by one of the big fighting game circuits. Melee's one of my favorite all time games so I wouldn't hate you for switching between neckbeard crowds.

Melee is the best GameCube game ever, so yeah, that's cool. Some kids are holding a tournament at my school at the end of the month, so that should be fun.

It went okay. Lost first round of an 8 man going 1-2 vs BW midrange after opponent lands BBoV at 8 life on turn 5. I had Act of Treason and a Reckoner on the board. Couldn't get there. Didn't actually expect it for some reason, and not sure if I misplayed. Did a couple of two mans just to showcase the deck. I think it's in a good place and probably a few cards
within optimal. I just wish we had another two power one drop like black does.

Your old slivers have two claws, but most of the real old slivers only have one. That's another difference you could draw out.

If I were you, I'd do it with one sliver at a time. First dude shows up, second dude shows up facing him and they both evolve a little. Then Steve shows up and only evolves one of them.

Two arms instead of one?
