Alright guys. You were right Az, I lied, I'm not really a miller... I have a special role that is both alignments in one!
I start being scum on odd days and nights, and I switch to being town on even days and nights, and gets fixed when a given proportion of the town is one or the other faction. My win condition is that of the faction I am when I die or the game ends, whichever comes first. Very difficult position to be in TBH. As such, I don't know who the scum team is, and I don't really know if they know that there's another half/scum out there. Probably not. You do now, morons.
And town, you lynched your doc, morons.
I guess Stardust will post the scum part of my PM with some salt n' peppa on top.

If you'd claimed that truthfully, you might have actually lived, at the very least temporarily. Not so much this way.
One of the shortcomings of behavioral analysis when it comes to neutrals is that you can only read how the players think about themselves. If they think of themselves as anti-town, they look like anti-town, even if there's potential for their role to be played on the town side.
Under the circumstances, I'm not unhappy with lynching half a scum/town traitor. For tomorrow, we should probably look at some of the folks who were dragging their feet/seemed to have knowledge that GR wasn't a member of their team.

there was something earlyish in the thread that made me think you were a neutral, but i disregarded it. oh well. i tend to agree that a traitor, even one with a doc ability, is not a role i want around as town.

That's a lynch!

Floating upon that bedoubled land couch in the middle of the Lego ocean, you all begin to get a bit testy. Arguments are heated and accusations fly about who is truly committed to stopping Lord Business. Not that it matters if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere with Taco Tuesday fast approaching. Some wonder whether you'll ever get out of this alive. I mean, it's not like a giant ship is just going to come out of nowhere and save y-- BY GOSH!
Out of the mists floats a vast Lego pirate ship, bedecked with all manner of piratey business. Everyone plunges their claw hands into the water and starts paddling frantically towards it. "We've got to shed some weight!" cries
Emmet. You all turn to face ( G_R ) and it isn't long until everyone is safely aboard the ship. Well, everyone but ( G_R ), of course.
It is now Night 1. No posting! Night will last for 72 hours, so get your actions in.

Day 2 - Follow the Instructions
As your hearty crew continues to sail the open seas towards Lord Business's office, it's time to come up with a plan. What you need are ideas so dumb and bad that no one would ever think that they could possibly be useful.
"We're going to build a spaceship," says Emmet. "Wait, wait, wait! No, not a bat spaceship, or a pirate spaceship, or a rainbow sparkled spaceship. We're going to follow the instructions..."
As you work on keeping your breakfast down (and not because of the seasickness), it's time to get to work.
It is now Day 2. With 8 alive it's 5 to lynch.

Either you're lying, or the mod is lying. *scratches chin*I didn't submit any night actions.
Well, that's a stumper. Who could it be?
There's a great way to sort all of this out. You guys remember that MoJo has a daykill power? Well, since he needs to verify that...Trick question! The third and correct choice is you.
What are you lying about?
I have a plan.
Since we're at a point where either Az or Ham is lying, I propose we have MoJo eliminate one of the involved parties. Ham, are you willing to take a bullet today to prove you're town and we hang Az? Az, same question.
Fuck you and the green you ramped in on. - My EDH battle cry. If I had one.

PPE: Hold your horses, DK. Ham's right, I'm gambiting here.
Last night, I reread the entirety of the thread with an eye towards Ham, coming up with an extensive array of notes indicating that Ham's our mostly likely candidate for the remaining scum.
A) I picked up on a number of positions he's taken, and a number of changes in position, that are tough to track from a investigative townie mindset, but easily explained in the context of scum repeatedly attempting to lead the town off track.
B) I noticed repeated use of manipulative techniques such as reverse psychology and leading prods/questions, and seeking to absolve himself of blame for wagons while still fostering anti-town results. This is the most disturbing portion of the case against him, in my mind. He has similarly repeatedly, publicly declared his lack of concern over being cased, and invited cases against
him - I would not expect this sort of artificiality in rhetorical and psychological techniques designed to turn aside suspicion from a townie. A townie doesn't need to use bravado or reverse psychology to turn aside suspicion - they're confident enough in their record that they simply tell you that you're wrong, and why. These types of plays come from someone who is both devious and intent on using every measure at their dispoal to turn aside scrutiny.
C) His interactions with me have been those of someone attempting to subtly discredit and disarm an opposite-alignment threat. I no longer buy the cover-story that it's a personality issue, his mindset in dealing with me has been too systematic and strategic.
D) At several key points throughout yesterday, he alternated between taking credit for participating in the GR wagon as a bus, and subtly pushing other alternative wagons.
Full documentation to follow in subsequent posts.
2. I took steps to
ensure my survival. I'm awaiting confirmation on several aspects from Stardust. Pertinently, though, I don't have any mod-based evidence linking the lack of NK/my survival to Hamfactorial. This was a a gambit attempt, as I took steps to verify per below:
3. At the end of last night I also received a "walkie-talkie" aka quick-topic access from an unnamed source. I posted a slightly more detailed explanation of my gambit plan to that quick-topic earlier today.
The upcoming case against Ham is more tenuous than that against GR. He's cunning, and subtle. I also would prefer if we had more full participation from the town, so that I could more confidently rule out other candidates. To the extent that I was able, I also reread players such as Lord McDonalds and Kpaca, and found far fewer indications of scummitude there, than with Ham. I'm also somewhat inclined not to read Rez as scummy, due to natural reactions and genuine-seeming
inquisitiveness.
I found very little in Ham's history by contrast that leads me to clear him, and what there is, is ambiguous and subject to alternative scum-explanations. As a sweeping summary, however, he reads like a naturally gifted and intelligent player who has chosen to use his gifts not as an investigator, but as a master manipulator. His repeated questions read more like attempts to steer the town's trajectory, than like questions he's honestly seeking answers to in order to form an intelligent viewpoint - they seem to have very little impact on his actual votes and stances, which change very quickly and dramatically with little explanation. His underhanded assistance of GR's "Azrael is an arrogant & delusional jerk" campaign was a particularly effective stroke on his part - and his buddying up post at the start of the day is an equally insidious attempt to disarm by day someone whom he failed to disarm this past night.
I think we've got his number now, though. Full PBPA
coming shortly.

I'm willing to play along once we hear from Az. He claims I'm scum and tried to kill him, also says his actions last night prevented a kill. How?
I want details, because I didn't do anything last night, and don't understand how he could think I tried to kill him or anyone else.
I think my role is valuable, so I'd prefer to live through the day to continue helping town.
If Az continues with this folly, and looks sufficiently scummy a result, I'll take a bullet to show his actions are scummy.

You post on dtr? Cool? Honestly, I don't know who posts there and who doesn't.
I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.
It should be a privilege to post here

These are the notes I took for myself last night on Ham's behavior. I'll be using them to generate a case, when I find sufficient time for that.
Notes:
Notes:
Hamfactorial - History of repeatedly inviting aggression against him, early in the thread, repeated later on. Why am I scum, Az? After he finds out reasons, starts down-playing, seems relieved. Bravado - genuine, or not? Thinks I'm being condescending by asking him to name his two buddies. This is the wrong reaction to that query. Should be amusement, discounting, brusque disbelief. First person to argue against 3 scum.
Really adversarial tone, inexplicable, early on. I don't think a negative reaction to arrogance sums it up. It's a reaction to an enemy, fight or flight. Lying is anti-town, why are you lying? Argue that my play so far has been pro-town, targeting broken. Disconnect between his defensive language, and his
supposed read on me as playing town. Inviting me to keep attacking him if I think it will help, even though he's town, doesn't make sense as anything except a manipulative or rhetorical move.
Reverse psychology is central to his scum defense.
During the "Az-slip" debate, asks a bunch of prelim questions in an attempt to justify az-wagon rather than immediately taking stance.
Unfair attacks during my reply to his scum-slip attack - suggesting that I know things about the mafia team, why don't I tell him more about them. Casually theorizes things that might make me scum, without conviction. "Don't blame me for attacking you - I'm not even voting you!" Meanwhile, he makes the case that I'm scum.
Seems to think being lynched for RVS banter is annoying, unfair.
Az's play is anti-town bc (bad reasons).
Asks me why do I care about GR's optimal scum play - trying to twist that into a tell as well.
Ham- brings up performatives, but doesn't lynch GR on the basis of the tell he
himeslf brought up as believing in.
Tries to redirect attention to DK, away from GR.
Ham" i'm keeping my vote off you UNTIL cm comes or is replaced - despite not taking prior stances".
RE: RN - He's certianly not doing anything to help find the scum."
-Promises to read GR case. - Originates the "Az is too certain" argument/ Dunning Kruger.
- Ham - deosn't feel bad about the dunning-kruger comments, flippantly says he'll be nicer,b/c from his standpoint it was just a tactic. In fact, he feels happy, b/c I'm not reading him as scum while he's stabbing me in the back.
Ham's DK vote @482 is terrible, as is his explanation for why he's not voing GR. Too self-conscious and convoluted.
