I see where Maverick is coming from because as a member of one of these socialist European countries, the concept that you may denied service because you're a Jew or because the seller doesn't like your looks (happened to me once in NY) is totally Alien for us in this other side of the pond.
With this said, my guess would be that since Wizards market a "children's" card game, they wouldn't want convicted pedos around. I mean even here pedophiles get lifetime barred from children-related jobs.
I mean it sucks for him because he probably liked his hobby and he got the short end of the stick for sure, but that's life I guess

Its insane how I used to look up to cedphillip and patsullivan just 5 months ago when I started the game. Now I know an iota about standard and they disgust me being so unfair or ignorant in their commentary
actually, maybe I'm being unfair to them, watching vods of their content and critiquing it as if I could do better.

Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

It's hard to make 8+ hours of Magic seem interesting when the majority of it isn't, and they do a better job of trying to make it seem interesting than anyone else with the exception of LSV. I like when Patrick Chapin is teamed up with Psully though, but he rarely has the time to commentate it seems.

Zach is intelligent enough to think he's clever and because of this, he talks just to hear himself talk. Everything is so over the top with his word choices too, like using the word devastating too much and too often for example. At least Zach seems intelligent. Rishad never has any idea wtf is going on.
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.

Khans sealed is fantastic.
It's slow enough that I find it pretty low variance. With banners and dual lands, you generally shouldn't have a problem building a cohesive deck and you can almost always play your best cards. I had exactly one pool where I opened insane white and zero white fixing and I still won all my games playing 4 color base golgari.
Reid even wrote an excellent Khans sealed primer today.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.

I jammed all day with my drummer buddy yesterday, drinking copious amounts of Sam Adam's Octoberfest beer, as well as a few growlers of Chocolate Peanut Butter stout from a local brewery. Best day ever. After all the guitar talk last Friday, I chose to spend that evening jamming on my acoustic. Having read through the previous pages and learning about child molestation laws, I'm confident my spurning this thread was the right choice.

I got to see my brother play his first gig on Saturday, which was cool. It was at a bowling alley, the crowd was a bit weird, the speaker system and way they mic'd the band was crappy so everything sounded muddy, nobody could make out a word of lyrics, and the guitarist broke his d string in the second song with no backup, but other than that, it was exciting to see him out there playing.

After all the gear talk we had the other day, it made me feel really good to crank my Jet City head at about half volume. At this point, I wouldn't change a single thing about my main rig.Aww yeahI jammed all day with my drummer buddy yesterday, drinking copious amounts of Sam Adam's Octoberfest beer, as well as a few growlers of Chocolate Peanut Butter stout from a local brewery. Ouch on that D-string. I've been in that spot before (though I normally bust my A-string when I do pop a string).I got to see my brother play his first gig on Saturday, which was cool. I don't go anywhere without few things: my multi-tool, a backup set of strings, extra 9-Volts, and a spare cable.
