I like Momir basic. I like seeing the thrills chills and spills of what the RNG is going to throw out next.
"RNG took all thought out of my game, an experience I rode to assured victory" is not in that list.

I only gave the most basic outline. If there hadn't been angry messages, and ragequitting, it wouldn't have been nearly as good.
You post on dtr? Cool? Honestly, I don't know who posts there and who doesn't.
I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.
It should be a privilege to post here

Thank god they printed that 1/5 bird warrior in Khans to make it just that much more unlikely that that exact chain of events will transpire again.

What thrillho is trying to say is you arent even playing a game, youre just touching cardboard in some sort of order.
Isn't that every game?

Most card games even ones with heavy rng reliance take some skill to compete in and half of the fun is trying to optimize your plays to roll with the rng punches. Your good game scenario is your opponent suffered a fatal stroke in the middle of the match and list because he died.

I'm fairly good at magic, not great, but adequate. If the game had been: 'got scalplexis, oh you dont have fliers i win, lol', or anything similar, it would not have been as fun as it was.

I mean it was exactly that if you got Scalplexis and then won. Anything else in addition is you putting frosting on that turn of a sentence.

Has anyone ever met a mtg player who wasn't "fairly good at magic" in their own opinion.
Some people say they suck at magic, but you know they don't mean it.

My favourite game of yahtzee was when I rolled a yahtzee. My prodigious dice rolling skills are what made it my favourite game. Certainly nothing to do with the fact that it is simply exciting to gamble on random numbers which can create scenarios that are both memorable and enjoyable.

I sent Wizards another request for an exclusive preview card, but I'm such a loser I totally forgot to change the title, so Wizards got a mail titled: A request from DiesToRemoval.com for an exclusive preview for the upcoming MTG set Khans of Tharkir (with missing frontpage link)

They just went away. Quietly. I screwed up. Plain and simple.
