Some people say that DD doesn't pick up until Ep4, but goddamn, that fucking hallway fight scene in Ep2 is on par with Oldboy.

Seen all of daredevil right after it came out. Shit is great.

Midway through whatever the current season of arrow is, but I'm content never seeing it again if it's still trending downwards in quality.

Well, I had yet another good day one into horrendous day two at SCG Cleveland. Started 7-2 and ended up 9-6 taking 69th.
Broke my favorite pen too, gonna be expensive to repair :(

It's like the show is being dictated by all of the "Olicity" shippers and the fact that that some of the characters' growth seems forced.

The price of remand could have gone up and you'd probably say something ridiculous like "I guess delver strategies are becoming more popular" instead of using your brain and accepting it was just random chance or the work of the white male greek god Zeus.
People have fortunes that dwarf GDPs of countries from investment and stock trading due to complete blind chance.
I paid for two apartment moves, my car, and one of my college loans because I just got lucky over thousands of trades.
You lost at magic because your opponent got lucky and you did not.

Luck is just this ambiguous bogey man who looks over your shoulders and either pushes you into fortune or ruin and there's nothing you can do to avoid it. You figured my secret out, I've been holding the luck monster hostage in my closet for years and only let him out to turn Modern cards into different, more expensive pieces of shiny cardboard.

Heard lots of good reviews for Sword Art online, need to bite the bullet and dive into the second episode.

Best anime's still One Piece. NOTHING EVER COMPARES TO IT.

Sword Art was good for 1/2 of the first season.

Sword Art was good for 1/2 of the first season.
This. The first arc of SAO isn't anything particularly above average, but it at least kept me invested and was a bit of mindless fun to watch. The second arc however, might be the worst story arc I've ever watched. It was soooo bad.

The show had a lot of problems anyways, but the second arc kills most of the excitement in the show, at least for me.

If somebody wants an mmo anime, just watch Log Horizon. The first season is pretty good. (haven't seen season 2 though)

Won an Epic game of hearthstone that involve my knife juggler killing to boom bots which killed my doomgaurd that I just buffed to kill a doctor boom on a full board.

To translate that into English for non-hearthstone players, I have 7 creatures in play to my opponents 2. One of mine has whenever a creature Etbs under my control, deal 1 damage to a random enemy. I hit both my opponents 1/1s that read when they die, deal 1-4 damage to a random enemy. They both dealt the max damage to my single important creature.

The odds of which is something like a thousandth of a percent.

SAO is good when the focus is on the actual MMO element and not girls swooning over the protagonist.

Daredevil was great. My biggest complaint was

Foggy acting like a little bitch when he found out. It's just such a tired trope that someone needs to get all pissy about being "lied to" when their friend/family member turns out to be a super hero. In real life, most people, especially someone with Foggy's personality, would be like "dude, that's awesome."

At best he should have been angry for two seconds until he confirmed that Matt is indeed still blind (because pretending to be blind to for so many years would have been a dick move) and then, again, just have been like "okay cool." It would have been refreshing and really fit the "realistic hero" vibe the entire series had going for it.

i do think that would have been cool, but Foggy was still unsure about Daredevil being a hero at all. "Did you blow up all those people?"

Abandon that sinking ship and watch Daredevil instead

I feel like the reveal of their past to account for why he was so pissed off was poorly executed/should have been shown earlier instead of a "here's a post-fact justification for why he's bent out of shape."
That's the major/possibly only weakness of the show.

My only criticism of Daredevil is that he's not wearing his face wrap ninja gear anymore. Origins costumes are generally so much better than when the story must yield to ridiculous things to appease mouthbreathing fanboys.

whenever i have a hunter quest i know that i can turn my brain off and quickly rank up.
my opponent gained 20 life and i just went face and won on turn 7 without consideration for his creatures barring one acolyte of pain that got eaglehorned down.
