I think Pod is a great deck, probably the best Plan B out of the bunch (attack with dudes). If I had to go with a tier 1 deck for a tourney I'd look there first, Tempo Twin second, Affinity third with some Blood Moon in the SB to hose Tron and Jund.

It's weird cause I was actually daydreaming about a possible mono green devotion deck at work yesterday. I doubt it is that great in modern but I'd still like to see a list.

In other news, the liliana's I bought for $50 last month are now selling for $80. I kinda want to sell them but I also want to keep them since I haven't decided which modern deck to play at GP Minneapolis yet...

I got a foil ashiok a couple weeks ago. And a dragon as well /sweet brags

I still love the format, but I'm getting pretty tired of going 1-2 with sealed pools that look really solid. I really hope I just open an elspeth and be done with it tonight

You should grind for MOCS3 on the Jan 29 - Feb 26 the format is limited and the card is battleskull (alt art).

I have about 700 Tickets lying around from my wins (I would have more if I sell my MOCS promos), I'm willing to spend 500 Tickets (I already have most Modern lands and some often used expensive cards) I got about 3/4 months till MOCS4 (so I have all the time in the world to get ready and learn how to play the build) what is the best modern deck which 500 tickets can buy?

Probably pod. The problem I'm having with modern is that there is no "best deck" and the format is so expensive that I don't want to invest in the wrong one. Another issue is that BRG is coming out shortly and there is a B/R update soon as well that may have impacts on the meta...

I had a whip and the 6/6 that makes 1/1 fliers in the first one and the gorgan hydra and ashiok in the second. 0 gray merchants tho...

Played UW control on premier event. Lost 3 times to stormbreath dragon, destroyed everything else (2x black 2x mono u 2-0 and it was quite easy)

How to destroy dragon (sometimes you dont have counterspell or verdict... or elspeth - lol quite a lot) just play esper for solid removal?

Have you tried Celestial Flare and/or Ratchet Bomb? If your happy with beating Ux and Bx isn't is ok to accept that Rx is a bad MU?
