Alas, Sene has instructed me to relay to you that he is not interested in your opinion. :slant:
I see we are back at third party proxy communication levels, that's gotta be the new trend for 2013 internet communications amirite? A shame because I thought at least Sene was entitled props for having the balls to come here and voice its opinion, even knowing it would be unpopular. Seems that we got back to the Galspanic level of passive-agressiveness of "I'm too afraid to
register, but to me it seems these guys are actually saying this in their posts..." and I find it a shame, and I say this without any malice (lol Scumbag, etc...).
I guess I kinda gave up on the thread. Sorry about that

So Talore,
The fresh winds of Spring are blowing again. From one druid to another, tell me: what will you be planting this year?

Bit miffed you never answered this, man. I'm actually quite curious what you'll be putting in your window boxes as soon as we start getting sunshine again. I'll be planting the same combination of herbs and peppers I always do (the peppers will stay inside until they're plucked), but I imagine you get an entirely different opportunity out there on the coast.

I wish I had more windows in my apartment. I'd start growing basil and thyme to save money on spices and next level cooking. :(

It doesn't work. You grow that crap for like one month, water it, nurture it, and the if you're lucky and it doesn't die, you get to cut leaves enough for an half serving.

I said fuck it, I'm going to the supermarket get some spices instead and let the gardening for whichever megacorp is in the business and does it on a large enough scale to be worth it.

my parents have managed to do it sustainably and i came from my parents, so anything they can do i can definitely do because that's how race systems work in d&d

The improved flavor and convenience of window boxes is enough to keep me interested. Plus every year you get better at it, making the yields bigger... at this point I grow so many peppers I give them away to neighbors and friends.
