Really? I've driven through Carbondale. It's not that populous, is it?
Compared to Boston? Hell no. We're about 26,000 people. More if the university is in session.
But if it's edible and ethic, we have two of them.

The "lady friends" (and I use that term loosely) that I've seen at my LGS...
Well, let's just say, I wouldn't touch them with Ham's dick.
They should be so lucky! Ham's factorial is exponentially better than the competition.

We get a few here and there, but I travel a lot and Corpus Christi, Texas had a few nice looking females. The worst I ever saw was in a little store in Kansas.
I was guessing the genders there and most appeared to be Crusty the Clowns kids.
My local shop is out side of town and quiet and not busy or smelly. Parking is a big issue for. If I can't park an F350 there; no go.

I spend all my time between rounds pounding brews, smoking, joking, and shootin' the shit. My rounds go quick when I'm the beatdown, but lately I've encountered a lot of White Weenie and Mono Red, forcing me to play as control. While these games are generally a BYE for me, it does take some time. That's why I usually double fist my beers when I head into a match.

I drive a 97 Ford Exploder. Thing is a fucking champ. It's like the Falcon- she don't look like much, but she's got it where it counts. Just like Suga.

I drive the 2,000 F-350 more so for work and cause I am out late often (deer issues). My home truck is a Nissan Titan, but the corn fuel is an issue...don't drive it as much. Really want to get a new Dodge Challenger though. As for the F-350, it's fun to drive since it's stick. Also there is no damn urea tank in the old models as they have in the new diesels.

What's less manly than a Honda Civic?
A pink Honda Civic?
A Honda Civic with two dudes in female underwear going at it in the back seat?
A vagina with wheels? (No, wait, I already said a pink Honda Civic...)

Was in Alaska in 2000 on a backpacking trip, saw a guy driving a pink Honda Civic. His license plate read: PMSGIRL.

Quick question guys, though it may well require a long answer

Are any of you tech gurus? I need a new laptop (suffering bad MTO withdrawal currently) and want to get as much as I can for as little as possible but know nothing at all
I surf, play MTGO and use Word. I need speed but not a lot of memory, I think. Do I need a 17' screen and a solid state drive? Are any brands better.? etc etc etc Any input really appreciated

And if going on a long ride (horseback); watch out for that trail head. It always says "coming soon".

Can I piggy back that discussion? Need a new laptop.
Needs:
- good word processing / Internet browsing / good for streaming
- would like good video quality for watching movies
Don't need:
- fancy graphics, I don't play games anymore
- any other crazy stuff
Memory wise if like quite a bit though, I like to use a laptop as a de facto TV.

You can get a pretty powerful laptop for about $600 these days. An SSD is largely
unnecessary, you care more about storage space, screen quality and ergonomics. MTGO isn't demanding, neither is MS Word, so you don't need a really beefy integrated video card either. Head over to your local Fry's (if you have one) and play with them for a while. Computers are like cars, unless you need one for a special application, they're all basically the same.
I have a 10" netbook, which is terribly underpowered. My gaming all happens on my desktop PC.

They aren't the coolest if you're getting into the tech geek crowd, but I really like my Toshiba laptop. I bought one for my wife also, since she needed one for grad work. We've both been very happy.
I can play any current video game on mine, it's got great screen quality for movies/etc., plenty of storage, and allows for all the things folks have listed so far.
I won't suggest a specific model - just head over to Toshiba's website and play around with the different models/options/build your own functions. Mine was about $1200 and hers was $800.
The great thing about the Toshiba laptops is that they're INCREDIBLY durable. They're a bit heavier than those artsyfartsy Macbooks, but so what. Anything without a girth just isn't worth it.

As it happens, I build computers for fun. Desktops, though. Laptops are a bit of a different ballgame. But I do know that MTGO is software rendered so how much you need to spend on graphics is substantially lower than it would be if you were buying a laptop to play something like Skyrim, or render your own animations. For word, internet and MTGO you can pretty much shop around for deals on stock systems. No need to get fancy. All but the most basic of systems will support usage like that. If you're not confident in your own ability to hand pick the machine's components, you can show the system requirements to the clerk and say "I want it to run this".
For posterity, MTGO reccomends:
OS: Windows XP or newer
CPU: P4 1ghz or faster
RAM: 512mb or more
Video Card: DX9 Compatible, 128mb video ram
1024x768 resolution or more
Broadband Internet Connection
That is significantly within the realm of what I'd call &
quot;budget". Or at least by desktop standards.
The cheapest things to upgrade from there would be system RAM, followed by video RAM and CPU. 512 MB of RAM is... well, it's pocket change.

Cigs in Poland are expensive as fuck. I think the tax is around 120% of the value. I'm paying 12plns for a pack. Now I got my payment: 1400plns. I spend 600 on renting the room. Parents will probably give me a hand in terms of paying off my studies (600pln again). So monthly I'm spending around 300-400 plns on smokes.
But actually, I can't live without them. It's not about comfort. It's more about dealing with the pain.

Remember that the MTGO beta will eventually be the default, and it has a minimum resolution. I can't play on my netbook because the screen is too small.
