Stephens had ridiculous power as a LW and Jason has crappy striking defence. Still...ouch.

I'm so psyched for Vitor vs Hendo. Two of my favorite guys from when I first started watching. I loved Hendo in PRIDE and Vitor in the early days of UFC

In a standard 2-man, a mono blue played out a Pithing Needle, and named Chandra Ablaze.

Not sure if serious (I had Chandra in hand).

Ablaze? Is that card even played in any format besides EDH?

Battle of the TRTitans!

Should be epic. Belfort by KO early, Hendo's granite chin be damned.

We could get a sloppy gas festival, but yeah I think we'll see a KO early. I would be content seeing a redux of their 2006 fight but Hendo hasn't got that in the tank anymore IMO. I think Hendo gets starched early, even if it takes Vitor's trademark back of the head lunches to do it.

As long as I don't get a replay of Hendo vs. Shields in Strikeforce, I'll be happy. My god, Jake Shields is such an asshole.

I'm hoping for Hendo v Shogun, aka greatest fight of all time.

Not the Hendo fight, but fuck me if Shields doesn't win a lot of BS decisions; Kampmann, Woodley, Maia etc

I wish the UFC would change their rules for judging. It needs to be instilled in judge's minds that just because you're on the bottom, you're not necessarily losing the fight.

And not that fencing shit with the faceguards and shit. Fucking swords, man.

They can be blunt-edged I don't care.

Scarf fighting I would think.

The issue isn't the UFC. They don't appoint the judges, the sports commissions do. And the commissions implement the unified rules which are fucking terrible. Half the judges are incompetent anyway. As a BJJ guy myself, I don't mind the preference judges show for being on top - you don't see guys with elite guards being nullified by anybody but the very elite wrestlers, and in that unique instance, the wrestler is actually winning the fight. Eg. Any Fitch fight. When most bjj guys are whining, it's not like their actively fighting for subs themselves.

Thiago tapped to strikes. That's a shitty way to go out.

I'm aware of the unified rules, but I wish the UFC would push to adopt a new rule set with the commissions. I would honestly like to see the Japanese rules used. It's been a long time since I was able to watch Japanese MMA, but I don't remember seeing many bad decisions.

I know it's probably incomprehensible given that the temperature down there hovers around 500 degrees Celsius in December, but they're relatively good for keeping your body heat in during the cold months up here in Michigan.

Also, bitches love the scarf. Makes you look sophisticated and shit. Real hit with the skinny, straight-haired, thick-rim glasses wearing Photography major women

I don't remember which comedian it was, but they talked about how, the manlier a sport is, the gayer the uniform is.

American Football = Skin Tight Capris
Wrestling = Women's Bathing Suit
UFC = Booty Shorts
Pro Wrestling = Speedo

Alex: When someone says "Hey, I'm in this situation, what should I do?", something tells me that's when they actually want to hear our "projected morals." Like, you could just say "Do whatever, doesn't matter, morality is bs." But that doesn't really, ya know, help.
In my experiences, when people ask for your opinion on what they should do in a situation, more often than not they're just seeking your approval (or trying to validate the conclusion they've already come to themselves) more than they're actually interested in your advice. That being said, usually I will simply leave it at "Do whatever you want to do, I'm not going to think any less of you for your decision." People tend to appreciate that.

Im not so much chaotic nor am I evil, I imagine you'd be hard-pressed to find a more neutral stance than mine.

Actually, even though Canada uses the metric system, people my parents age used the imperial system, so we still use imperial for height and weight. Should be eradicated in a generation or two.
