Control>Preordain. Lets you see less cards, but gives you the best digging ability and information.

Tempo>Ponder/brainstorm. Ponder lets you set up your delvers(biggest incentive to play tempo) and brainstorm is an instant.

Brainstorm. Fine, though unexciting card without shuffle affects. Broken with shuffle affects. If your deck has no way to shuffle itself, I'd pick another cantrip first as brainstorm locking yourself is a very real way to lose and then tilt.

on turn 5+ is just ridiculous.

@zeman; Have you considered aura flux? It's subtle, but any deck that uses enchantments will be severly hampered by it's presence. Against hexproof it's almost a lock if you hit it (especially if you can protect it).

Even if it's unlikely it's not her job to poo poo, and you don't deserve to have your pursuits belittled in such a manner. Seriously if she can't handle it she can go fuck herself, you deserve some one who either supports you or at least has the goddamn common fucking courtesy to allow you one little harmless pipedream and leave it alone. So long as you aren't shirking other responsibilities, or spending money flagrantly, you aren't hurting anyone.

Be wary, if she gets too controlling don't hesitate to dump her. I have dumped people for less.

Things I learned:
- 4 mana leak is too many. Its an amazing card, but this deck wins so slowly that they become dead too often late.
- Essence Scatter is incredibly well positioned in the format. Its better than Prohibit as there are a lot of relevant cards that cost 3+. Doesn't matter how much mana a Tron player has, for 1U, Ulamog's Crusher is going away
- I wanted to see Oona's Grace more, card
is bonkers
- 3 Repeal was too many

Sideboarding into a mill deck is also very good. That's -4 Delver, -4 Golem; +2 Piracy Charm, +3 Curse of the Bloody Tome; +1 Deep Analysis, +2 Serrated Arrows. You gain huge CA from blanking all of your opponent's removal.

I could see a further -1 Mana Leak, +1 Rewind.

Incredibly helpful actually. You were ruthless with your cuts and really helped me get in under the threshold (well, close enough, we got down to 2204, from 2749 starting). I thought you did an excellent job of keeping my meaning and way of conversing; Helios did a nice job of actually attacking some of my writing flaws so that I will be an improved writer next time (thanks again ) and Redthirst had some very insightful pointers to help me better convey meaning. I learned from everyone that my language is a bit lazy

Excellent. I am glad that you found them useful. I worried about being too ruthless with some of the cuts. It's something I teach in business writing and with a lot of argument essays: cut 10%, then cut 10% more to get to the real meaning you wish to convey. It helped that I'm not emotionally invested in the writing.

On another subject, I am considering National Guard (officer) or Dallas PD. TSA and Border Patrol have been keeping me in suspense for way to long (1 year 4 months) and think it will not happen due to Government Budget crisis. National Guard sounds great but the work schedule sounds weird and it sounds part Time? Dallas PD looks really good and the PT is not designed for special forces. I tried San Antonio PD, but cross fit sucks (they really focus on it to much, you can get injured easily just in training).

The jobs he mentioned were pizza delivery and some vague job in a restaurant. Likely a line cook or a busser.

Does the man really have anything else going on? If he can pull in $20k at a tournament once a year, he's probably making more than a full time unskilled laborer and spending less time. He doesn't have a degree of any kind, if I read the article correctly.

Once upon a time I had nothing going for me aside from being a dishwasher at Denny's and a venue Storyteller in the Camarilla Fan Club overseeing the entire Great Lakes region. I missed major conventions because I had to work. If I had gone, and with enough ass-kissing, I may have ended up working/writing for White Wolf (and I'm glad I didn't go that route because White Wolf shut it's doors not long after that time in my life). I'm not faulting him for the end result, I just can't get behind the way he decided to get there.
