Err... maybe people actually fear becoming the new me, now that I think about it.
I even missed top 3 at FNM yesterday! e.e

About the lurking mass: I don't really know what the point is in just lurking.
I mean, it's not like I'm contributing or anything, I'm just happy in having James come up and drop a "that's a stupid idea" on me every once in a while '-'
It's my way of showing I care.

I haven't played an fnm in years, but I've been playing Sundays and some Saturdays. Lately I've just been playing pauper, because let's face it, legacy pauper is the best format per dollar. And it has really made me appreciate why I had to pay so far deeply out the ass for chain lightning, it's actually well worth it.

I'm considering going back to playing standard, but I think i'm just going to wait for born of the gods, I can only beat esper unmerciful and be told that "you only won because of variance" so many times, and replies of "you're the one who chose the high variance pile" doesn't have the impact its logical perfection would seem indicate.

thanks to nbw for the sig.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

Such is the burden of playing red.

My wife had to take her father to the hospital so I am up with the boys this morning. His heart isn't in rhythm and she thinks he may be afib so let's hope it's nothing serious.

Well, I'm doing what I can to represent FoS even at MTGS contest.
My english is not the finest, but I guess I did my best.
While sticks and stones may break your bones,
my fire will leave you beaten to death,
it's over now, no saving throws,
when topdecked Bonfire will take your last breath.

Last Breath? Nice card to fight a single goblin,
what you're gonna do against my whole dragon army
you can sell your deck now, fill the crap rare bins
Because you know what they say 'bout Red Deck? Wins.

Let's make a match, your Jace against my Thundertights
little nerd in cape is 'bout to get smashed tonight
if you want that matchup, I guess you're not the one bright
But nobody said drawing cards in red deck is fair, right?

Burning stuff is just my speciality,
Lightning Bolts, Searing Spears, definition of flexxibility,
because red decks have the most difficult decision to make
what's uglier
and easier to burn - your Jace or your face?

I am Goblin Guide to your Vexing Devil,
misguided genius against bulky cretin,
you have no chance, I'll play around,
you saying "I scoop" I love that sound.

My last message to all the redhaters/netdeckers
are simple few words: "Son, get wrecked"
I don't need a judge to call your pathetic misplay,
I'll outsmart, outplay and outhryme you all night and all day.

This was my first FNM in (literally) eight months, I usually just play on Sundays since we Cube. I decided to go since I haven't played paper in a while. I'm glad I did. I'll probably keep going, I played Nuwen's Br list which I enjoy very much and made some new pals. (I went 3-1, which helped.) I might brew something for next week, who knows.

I wish Modern were a real format in Charlotte, I want to play UB Infect but Modern tournaments don't launch unless there's sizeable prize money around here. :(

next season."

Then next season happens.

Hopefully it isn't anything worrisome. Atrial fibrillation is pretty common when you get up there in age. If he's the type to tighten up around the holidays, it could even just be too much stress.

Took down FNM last night and then got smashed at the bar. Now I'm at work, hungover as shit. I'm miserable, but it was completely worth it.

I beat this one guy after getting a 3-for-1 from Flames of the Firebrand to clear out double Spike Jester and a Shred-Freak. I later overhead him say to somebody that his Red Deck opponent (me) showed him how Red is really played. That made my night. Well, that and the drunken shenanigans at the bar. Good times.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.
