It's not unusual to have fun with anyone.

Being disturbed by khaospawn is perfectly fine when done safely.

I finally put up the Gunning for Tactical/Practical review for this month.
I really need my own thread holder/sub thread for each month. We will se how it does before that.
It's basically what I wear to FNM now in the winter.

@Valdarith. I really want a 2013 Challanger. Not a car mechanic, but I know how to drive well. Getting tired of driving big, slow trucks.
My Nissan is turning into a winter beater for Dallas if I get to go to the acadamy.

Went 5-1 (11-3) with MUC while heavily drunk, once and for all proving that control is the hardest archetype to play. Delver is also a fair magic card that was well designed.

Playing drunk? Now you're getting on my level!

I've beat stoners drunk a few times. Always funny when your opponent is mono green in more ways than one.

MUC is extremely hard to play. I had 3 Delvers on board, but they didn't flip until turn 9. IT WAS AWFUL

by zemanjaski
Yeah those games are the most frustrating, you're 47% to flip dammit!

And then you won on turn 9, didn't you?
JS: Didn't call you a bigot. Just pointed out that the first part of your statement had nothing to do with the last part. Don't worry about it there's a 50% chance I was drunk and oversensitive.

And then you flipped.

Turn 2 reveal Counterspell, flip Delver is such a good feeling. People should be more reasonable and just concede immediately.

Actually, I get my kicks from being the drunk "dumb" Red Mage that beats the UW or Esper player and then they get all butthurt from it.
Like, just because you can play Rev and Verdict along with a complex manabase means you're automatically better than me? Sure, sure.
Actually, I think the real reason why I think I play so well drunk is that I basically play the same deck season after season. It's all muscle memory at this point. Well, that and a hardened and well trained liver.

Christ, I'm tired. Whatever happened to the days where I could stay awake raiding shit on WoW all night and smash an exam the next day on nothing but a half-pot of coffee?
I'm way too young for the bed-by-8:30 lifestyle.

I have the same feeling (only I rarely play drunk), I've been playing mono red so long that at a certain point all the cards become fairly interchangable (especially when you rename a card I was playing beforehand, looking at you searing spear/
lightning strike).

Unless I'm playing in a big event, there's just no point in playing sober.

Which reminds me of something Zakk Wylde said when he was discussing the plans for his band's tour of Europe. He said the blue travel lines followed the liquor stores, the yellow followed the brothels for the road crew, and the red lines followed the bars. When he was done, he said, "y'know, without these blue and yellow lines, this whole thing just doesn't happen. There's just no fucking point. "

I'm glad that Coimbre and Hayne got called out; two of the least deserving PT winners ever, exemplars of "better lucky than good".

Thanks for the link, James. It's a really good read. And I'm glad that Lightsaber was in that list. I agree on all points.
