Day drinking is in my future. Just gotta make it to 3 o'clock and then my project team is going to the pub. Beers on the company dime! Can't beat it.

That was a shame about Phil Robertson. I watch the show. It's pretty funny. But I kinda got the feeling those were his views just by listening to him on the show. I don't agree with him, but he does have a right to his opinion. I also have the right to think he's a bigot.

Not very surprised.

It's okay, though. The crazy old one is the flagship star of the show, right?

Not surprised at all.

I wouldn't call anyone the star. It's more of an ensemble cast.

Yeah, he's definitely the craziest. I love hearing an old man say things like, "My humps. My humps. My lovely lady lumps."
Will continue to not care or watch the show.
It's an acquired taste. I don't look at it as a "reality" show, but rather a sitcom.

I'm jealous.

I've been working since 3am. And I didn't even get to leave last night until almost 6pm. Which may explain my illogical and angry attitude all day.

It might just be a fantasy. Further testing is required as you may just be caught in a landslide of conflicting views with no escape from reality this time.

Tonight's class is not going to be fun for a majority of the students. Out of 23 students, I received 10 weekly research assignments and 9 analysis essays. That's utterly ridiculous for Comp 2. Time to lay a little bit of verbal smackdown on the class.

My cousin's girlfriend speaks with that annoying Berkeley girl voice pattern (glottal fry for those nerdy enough to care). It's so bad that my girl and I refer to her as Lumpy when we're alone and talking shit.

Pregnancy update for those who care: my wife has been experiencing minor contractions, so her doctor has ordered her to take it easy, which means calling in to work if needed and not attending a masquerade dance this weekend. She doesn't want her going into full labor before week 38. She jokingly mentioned that we'd be in the hospital on Christmas Day, which would be funny since we were in the hospital on Christmas Eve with our first son. Turned out to be false labor, though.

She'll be at 37 weeks by the end of this week. Her due date is Jan. 12, so we'd be a little early but not by much.

LGS was offering to buy Mutavaults at $20/ea last night. They're selling on tcg for $22-$24... but I only have 3.

The mtgfinance side of me was screaming "THAT SPREAD IS AMAZING FUCKING SELL THEM" but the spike in me was screaming "FUCKING KEEP THEM, YOU NEED THEM FOR PYROWHITE AND THAT'S THE ONLY DECK YOU HAVE PIECES FOR."

Should have grabbed more when they were $10-$12. I'll get better at this finance thing eventually. :(
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know if you're being lied to?

The answer? Use a gun. And if that don't work... use more gun.

Build Z's griefer MUC deck and grind out some free wins. I justify my use of Island by turning the packs into red cards.

I may have to enjoy myself some Pauper soon before the gig is up on this wonderful MUC deck. Minus the Serated Arros and Hydroblasts, of course.

I also posted a budget blue deck in the WMWIM thread that I want to try out.

Re: Mutavaults. Got mine while they were at $10. Don't plan on selling anytime soon. Maybe if they do something ridiculous like hit $30 I'll consider it.

windstrider - tell her to slow down. My wife was doing clinicals while she was pregnant with our twins so it was really rough on her. She started having minor contractions halfway through the pregnancy and we had to go so far as to cut off sex entirely until she delivered (that was a real downer). She actually went into premature labor at 30 weeks then again at 33 when she delivered, and was on her feet all the time with clinicals which I'm sure expedited the process.

I'm not surprised in the slightest to hear that Mutavault's price is rising.

I'm glad that I got my set while they were on the cheaps along with Chandra. Come to think of it, I believe the most money I've spent on a Standard card in the last year and a half was the $14 apiece on my preordered Stormbreaths. Winning!
