I like to think Nuwen would have made out with the Sons of Guns chick at least a little bit too.

I would look worse than Bonnie and Clyde after the FBI made them holy. To many guns to get shot with since Her dad and husband are present.

Surprisingly, Red Jacket does not have alot for sale besides t-shirts when I was there visiting. They had the 10-22 bullpop mold mod, but not much else to write home about. I did get a signed t-shirt. They did not have a size that fit me with the print of an arrow pointing to your dick with "IT'S CANNON!".

I've heard RJF is more of a joke than anything in the hard-core firearms world... whatevs, though. Everyone attracts haters and I find the show entertaining.

So, I'd like to join the clan. You seem to be all cool guys, and you all play red. What's not to like ?
Furthermore, it's difficult to move so much people from mtgsalvation to a new site (i didn't follow the events, but i know it happened), so the clan must be really cohesive.
I hope my knowledge as a red mage will be useful like yours have been useful to me so far. As i stated in my "make an entrance" thread, i'm particularly competent in GOBLINS.

Edit: just realized this is the wrong thread. I'll copy paste in the right place.

Why wait? Show up to work drunk. Scream "ITS SATURDAYYYYYY" to anyone who disagrees with you.
People go to work sober?

The Divergent preview looked pretty good. Good enough for me to download the book and see what the story is.

I assume 300 2 means either the Ronin movie or Hercules (which looks like it has him as a gladiator for some reason).
No by 300 2 i mean it starts off after the first 300 ends. the trailer even has a shot of Leonidus dead on the ground. Called "rise of an Empire", it had a girl, and another chiseled guy and shit. I couln't figure out the plot or who's side anyone was on for shit in the trailer. IT looked pretty bad, but i didn't like 300 to begin with so...

Hobbit: Good points, but i still enjoyed it.

I had no idea 300 2 was a thing.

Also, is it just me or is this complete gibberish:

I got some more details. There was also a Hive Mind in play which does result in a draw and then the poster when back to work.

Calling that English, though, would be insulting. I don't know how Windstrider can stand to try and teach these... things.

That's probably a little excessive of a reaction for a forum post, though.

Just watched this guy draw his whole deck just to realize that he didn't have a win condition left in his deck. Nice use of the clock.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed DoS. I don't tend to watch movies as a critic though, so...

I'm also fairly new to LoTR since I hadn't watched any of it before a week or so ago e.e

(And yes, I did it on purpose this time ;P)

Godzilla is a reboot I think. But it's oldschool Godzilla, so it'll be good no matter what.

I personally can't wait for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
New Godzilla is a reboot/sequel. Official Cannon that will be upheld by Toho (pretty sure that is BS if the film suck. Like all the Godzilla films it will take place after the initial movie but will venture into its own continuity. He has like 3 timelines not including the new movie. The new movie is supposed to be more in line with the original and have Godzilla used as a metaphor for current events (originally atomic bomb but now maybe a metaphor for uncontrollable/natural disasters definitely post 9/11 fear stuff).

I won't debate Desolation Of Smaug with you, since I'm a big Peter Jackson fan-boy (saw the LotR movies 7-8 times each at the theater) so I'm not very partial, and you have some very valid points. I just love being back in PJ's Middle-Earth so I see past a lot of problems.

My biggest peeve with the movie though...why doesn't Smaug have separate forelegs instead of those combined arm/wings??? :flame:

Also, guess who just got a Zelda 3DSXL at WalMart for $150? Target's selling 3DSXLs and the Zelda+Mario&Luigi bundles for $150. So basically, free game and awesome looking 3DSes if you choose the latter. Target didn't carry the bundles over here, they didn't even have the price tags up, but I took a pic of the ad for the regular 3DS sale and downloaded a pic of a Zelda sale tag and WalMart matched it anyway. So I saved $70 and now have a shiny new console with lots of games I want.

I'm not even a huge Zelda fan but:
a) that deal is amazing
b) I was going to pick up a Pokemon Y 3DS anyway, which was $150
c) this 3DS looks fucking sweet

having security issues. I stopped playing handhelds cause the games keep getting worse.

Yeah, I went to all the midnight releases of the LotR movies and was highly ranked in the CCG - I'm definitely a fanboy, but I can still tell the difference between a good movie and a bad one. I mean, I loved Star Wars too but that didn't make Phantom Menace any good..

Bought it at WalMart already; pricematched. Left that part out. Still tired. :P

I heard about the Target thing though. Same shit happened with Sony and even Steam had a leak a few months back iirc.

Also re: The Hobbit. Not a huge LotR fan (/heresy). Fell asleep halfway through Two Towers. GF dragged me to see The Hobbit. I liked it a lot, actually. We're probably gonna see Smaug in theaters at some point.

The thought of a new Star Wars terrifies me. I never gave a shit about Luke. If it follows the Kids of Lea and Solo; you might get another Phantom Menace.

I would have been happy if they did not make another movie and left it to the video games. Disney wants to cash in on the new crop of kids though.

Nice score. I've been shying away from the 3DSXL since I remember the old XL
stretching the picture out into pixelation, but meh. Does this one have a similar issue?

I have not noticed it yet, but I've really only had time to do setup stuff so I haven't played anything on it yet. I have heard people complaining about the screen being a bit big pixel-wise, but I haven't heard anyone bring it up as a major point.

I loved Battlefront 2, Star Wars Battlefront Rouges (I think), X-men Legends series, and Ace Combat X on PSP. Played them to death. My PSP broke down and I traded it away for Nintendo DS since Vita sucks in my opinion. The problem was that the games were just not as entertaining and look like shit.
The new system looks good but g4 has been giving the games meeeeh ratings. I gues to many games are meant for little kids and are way to short. I am staying away from them for now.

Are they really finally putting smash brothers on 3DS?

I gues to many games are meant for little kids and are way to short. I am staying away from them for now.
Them's fighting words.

But in all seriousness, if you're not up for the likes of Shin Megami Tensei 4 or take joy in spending 20+ hours completely combing through a dungeon for loot, then yeah, DS games probably won't appeal.

Yeah, I went to all the midnight releases of the LotR movies and was highly ranked in the CCG - I'm definitely a fanboy, but I can still tell the difference between a good movie and a bad one. I mean, I loved Star Wars too but that didn't make Phantom Menace any good..
Favorite Shadow side in the CCG? I fucking loved playing with Moria Orcs when the game came out. Later in the game's life I had a blast with Shelob and Gollum.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

I'm going to suggest 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. Visual Novel with escape-the-room game elements. Amazing story and good gameplay, with multiple endings, and there's a 3DS sequel I'm really excited to get (eventually) and you can probably pick it up for $15-$20 I think. Definitely not a kid's game.

tl;dr: guy wakes up on a sinking cruise ship, finds eight other people on the boat, they were all kidnapped by some unknown person for this "game" (yes, it's kind of like SAW on a boat), and they all have 9 hours to escape or they all drown. And there are penalties for breaking the rules.
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know if you're being lied to?

The answer? Use a gun. And if that don't work... use more gun.

You're showing your age, or lack thereof.

Super Metroid, Chronotrigger, Zelda: LTTP...these are all acceptable choices. Super Smash Brothers? Excellent game. Not even in the same league though.

But then again, it is YOUR favorite game. I just feel bad that you weren't able to live through the golden years of gaming.
