I am still running rdw and still doing well, though I haven't played in any standard events lately, just some side games here and there.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I was also looking for a miniature of a male human in heavy armor with a polearm (for pathfinder), and after lowering my standards to a spears they still only had 1 option that wasn't a big box, I ended up buying 2 war machine spearmen, and they look kinda silly. How is it that they have 8000 different dudes with swords and shields, but no polearms outside of demon chicks with ransuers or tridents?
I can help you find some stuff if you're not opposed to ordering.

If you like painting your own stuff:
My URL is Too Damn Long

Otherwise, I think I found a good one, but I can keep searching if you want :P My google-fu is strong.

I am not adverse to ordering, with the exception of the "pay where you play" principle, which is why I always check my LGS first. Honestly it's not so big a deal, before I got the mini I was using a musketeer from mageknight, it's really just a matter of having a distinct mini, everything beyond that is vanity. And I would prefer to paint my own as a general principle. Back when I had more money than sense I was playing 40k alongside MTG, and I took great pains getting my army (witchhunters/sisters of battle) painted up just the way I liked, then they went and separated the ordo hereticus from the sisters and gave all three orders of the inquisition to the grey knights and took away the rules allowing inducted imperial guard, thus separating my carefully created army into three mostly incompatible pieces. If you knew know much effort I put into my army's back story and fluff elements, you would probably find
it depressing. And factor in the hours spent getting 30 lbs of pewter painted to match with colors I had to mix to get the exact shades of certain colors and all the other anal retentive detail work. Never have I rage quit something so damn hard, though I haven't sold them off yet, mostly because I put too much of my heart and soul into it, and fuck games workshop in their fucking snaggle-toothed British faces.

So that was a tangent, but yes I do paint my own because prepainted ones tend to look like shit, and I can not stand for that when I know that I could do better.

Also, I'm going to a ptq level event this weekend
I went to a ptq 2 weeks ago, my choice was to play my 18 lands AIR or a mono-black my friend could borrow me. I ended up playing mono-black and did a 5-3 finish... i regret not having played AIR because i faced only control decks (mono black mirror, esper, U/W) that get typically stomped by AIR....

Crazy thing was that a Maze's End deck made top 8 :iiam:

Fair enough, lol. Well if you want to paint your own, then I'll try to find you a few other things, cause I've got nothing else to do :P

Besides the one I posted earlier, here's whatever I find:

(Reaper minis are pretty good, imo, so I hit their site up first)
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/po ... test/03509
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/po ... /14581_w_1 (technically an elf, but unpainted are so much easier to customise, so that doesn't matter much)
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/po ...
test/02311
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/po ... test/14407
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/po ... test/14413
Those are the best I saw, but they have an entire section for polearm wielders, so you can look through yourself too :P
I was gonna check some other sites, but honestly, Reaper has so much I don't really even wanna bother now, lol. They've more then likely got something you'll want.

Well I have a boros legions deck already assembled(
please pardon the pun. Also the alliteration). I can also buy up the stuff for the Dos Rakis fairly easily.
So what it really boils down to is what is better suited to the overall meta atm (especially vs the esper humans deck which I expect to see a lot of), and whether power or consistency is better for a 6-8 round event like that.

Well, maybe not every morning. I'd have to skip a day once in a while or else having nights like those every night would surely kill me. I'd die with the biggest grin I could though. :D

First, find several open-minded, attractive, intelligent, fun-loving bisexual women who are all friends (we have three in our circle of friends ;-)). Be friends with all of them. Add various types of alcohol. Subtract children and other distractions. Party on!

I don't know how the hell we lucked out with the first item. I'm dumbfounded that I actually got to marry one.

(Re-posted from the Big Boros Thread)

You guys are the best , I only became a Youtube partner last month just throwing in random videos of the game I love for fun so I was really shocked when I received $24 in the mail today (It was for the stuff I posted on November when i still had a low fan-base so I figured I'll only get .20 Cents or something).

I think the amount will be much higher this month since the Subs and View count is much greater then November, I'm very grateful for the support guys and I'll continue try my best to return the support you have shown me.

On the bright side, I joined an 8-man and just shit all over a mono blue player in my first match. I'm actually going to revisit my first game as it involved Tymaret coming through once again for the win. I think I need to go with two of those guys. He's such a baller.

You know you're running the right deck when your mono blue opponent conceeds the match in frustration as he sits at 18 life with one card in hand and a Thassa online.

I haven't had the time lately to sit down and play with PyroRakis but I'm running 2 in my list. Did play one match against mono black with it. Burger King never showed his head but I found out how much Toil//Trouble is an awesome card. Looking forward to the scryland a come next set.

Seriously. Just build 2-4 decks (it shouldn't cost more than $30) and try to start up games with your opponent after each round. If you get really fun decks (looking at you, Boros Kitty), the format should catch on fairly quickly.
