being restrained by a psychological need to not play the best deck or best cards in an attempt to be different will always hold back some potentially great players

why do you think zem hates travis woo so much

mirror mirror

pauper suits zem, i am glad he is finding success in it

what does ugly sally have to do with zem being a budge cadge

that's what I got when I searched "budge cadge"

James contains birds.

Do not shake.

I can think of plenty of reasons to hate Travis Woo beyond "he plays brews."

Like his voice.

he sounds like he is perpetually holding a surfboard

and has downs

To be fair, so does Hamfactorial, but at least his voice isn't fucking irritating.

I'd like to think that even if we both have scrub tenancies, I can at least say that I have substantially better technical play.

i typed cadge because i didn't know how to type out the pronunciation of the first syllable of casual

cas doesn't work

caj is close

Probably "caj" yeah.

Also pauper is fun, and at least on MODO, a pauper deck will probably run you pretty close to a Standard deck in terms of price. Hell, for a while Cloud of Faeries was like 20 tix.

by the way kaze, i resigned, zem is still in the standard mod lounge pushing his card choices on those poor mods

so he sort of evens out after taking cfb into account

Favorite part about pauper currently: getting to use my foil Delvers again. :D

cfb also offered me a writing stint but they said i would have to personally fire lsv to take the job so i said no

I did get the CFB offer specifically on the basis of how well my Pyromaster brew performs.

Even if the deck doesn't show up in a huge event, I get the feeling that the deck has been popular enough to warrant keeping you around. I thought a lot of those comments were us, but there was a super IQ here two weeks ago where PyroRed was being played by two people in the top 8. It was one of those "...well I'll be damned" moments.

If CFB generates any revenue off of adspace, I'm sure you've probably been worth your weight.

I play with full foil decks so that my opponents know I am more skillful than them. They should probably concede after they see the first foil shock.
