http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/A ... eature/281 I'm not a fan of the scooped edges on the new card frame. The font is nice (assuming it is actually centered vertically, unlike on the mock-ups), and the stamp will be fun. But the asymmetry :/

i don't think it looks too bad, but like you said, the asymmetry is a little off putting. What im particularly wondering is this:

"While every card going forward won't feature a designer credit (kinda sad, really), there are a handful of others in Magic 2015, specifically, that will. (You'll have to wait on those details! It's cool, I promise!)"

Im wondering what is up with that.

It looks good. I hate that they're so weary of doing more with the frames, because it's pretty clear that the community wants them to mess with them. See: extended art alters, borderless alters, digital proxies without borders...

after looking for a while, that sticker continues to look increasingly tacky. like a yugioh card or something.

Extended-art stuff for like mythic rare foils I could so get behind. Of all the things they could do to the cards, this? Looks like vomit.

I like the new take on GR Monsters that BBD top eighted the SCG with.
G/R Monsters is such a trap deck. It seems awesome but it is so inconsistent I'm amazed at the number of people who top 8'd with it.

Maybe I'm just bad at the deck, but I've won a grand total of zero matches with all the placing G/R monsters builds, but won plenty when switching it up to G/R devotion.

Tomorrow's low: 10 deg F.

I live in lower Alabama. This should not be.
Eeek. That's not good at all for that area.

It's a balmy -6 without wind chill here near Kansas City. It hurts to breathe outside, and it never gets quite warm enough inside.

On a happy note, my dude is 3 today! We're watching Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and he cries out "Darth Vader!" every time Vader appears onscreen. They grow up so fast.

He's list is obviously substantially more tuned than mine; mines a bunch of 4-ofs which is rarely correct in control.

I've not heard anyone like Prognostic Sphinx; but ges stuck with it for months now. I need to at least test it.
This list is infuriating to play against ("I enjoy playing against draw-go", said no one ever).

Everyone on Cockatrice is playing it right now... Just played against it 3 matches in a row.

I beat it 2/3 times, but I would prefer to never play against is again.

If you want to make people tilt, it's a good choice.

So when you play it, do you ask your opponent to turn their head and cough? Or do you just snap some rubber gloves on?

Already saw that val, looks so nasty. FUCK YOU DELVER OF SECRETS!

Also running entomb as a straight value card is ballin.

PPS; that phryexian Ingester looks so sweet in the board

Ok, ok, ok.
Since I don't see Yarpus saying anything, I feel like I have to propose a sub-optimal card.

Could Pilfered Plans be in place of Divination?
You're not EVER going to mill them out, of course, but you could mess with their scrying.

I liked the Junk Depths deck I saw as well playing Burning Wish. He was able to Wish for an Orzhov Pontiff in game two vs UWR Delver. Opponent picks up the card to read it, frowns, then scoops his TNN and Clique and literally drops them into his graveyard six inches below him. Was hilarious.

Men, have you seen the new card frame from m15? there is a black part in the bottom left of the card hat looks ugly... it can be seen in the wall of fire they spoiled.
