i have people paying me $100 at a time and you're arguing over mcdoubles and if it weren't all kept bound together in a notebook next to my seller profile i would just let your non issue languish but the customer is always right etc everyone who buys from me is worth a fortune

i eat at 4-star restaurants and stay in suites for a week at a time for free but having someone give you negative feedback on a $2 transaction is truly a humbling experience.

I need a new subforum so I can get rolling applications for Watchdog status. I'm in need of a secretary, an account manager and a vice president of operations. Application forms can be found in the toilet paper dispenser in my office. If interested, please fill out one of these forms. DO NOT contact me directly. We will get in touch with you if we're interested in your application. Thank you.

far be it for me to assume a person who has the time to open a dispute over a $2, single-card purchase with $0.99 shipping is less relevant in a global scale than the person transacting thousands of dollars at a time.

Some neckbeard getting mad over a 2$ card is typical mtg player behavior though so I'm not sure why I'm surprised.

i mean who really cares in either way i'm going to give this guy something in response to his not being happy about the sale because really i don't want someone buying from me being upset they did so because it sucks when you spend money and don't get what you wanted out of your spent money, it's just that the amount spent and the costs associated with it are so trivial that you have to at some point realize that you're arguing over something that is invisibly over the line of relevant.

one time i paid $30 for a heavily played dark depths because it was the only copy they had available and i just sort of had to accept the fact that i wasn't going to get my $30 card in $30 condition because life is unfortunately a cruel and unforgiving place.

A watchdog who takes weeks off is pretty corrupt as well

unbeknownst to me at the time, but the dark depths -- despite its condition -- still produced a 20/20 flying indestructible token when all ice counters were removed by sacrificing vampire hexmage, which was what i was really spending $30 on.

i would tell my customer of this story from my youth but i feel the message would be lost on him because as we've established, he's arguing over $0.22 in a $2.99 transaction.

Maybe his allowance got cut off that week so he really felt the hit.

that's entirely reasonable. i remember a period in my life where i was using my dad's credit card to ebay cards because i was legally a child and could not use ebay to purchase magic cards.

Did you guys have this much control over the Gutter usergroup on MTGS? I'm surprised how much I'm able to change just being the group leader.
