I try not to be at clubs that ONLY play top 100 stuff. I do appreciate a mix of the old and new very much.

Also, heard a guy talking about some "revolutionary" R/w brew that *shock* plays aggro game 1 and then morphs into a "control" deck game 2 running YP$. I told the guy that the deck existed first on DtR and he just looked at me funny. Whatevs.

Also, when did Esper players abandon reason for madness and start playing Pack Rat maindeck? Easiest 2-0 of my life.

Coffee makes me poop.

At my usual LGS, there's a young kid (14 maybe) who likes to play with the older guys (30+). During a pre-release, the young kid asked about the surprising things that you learn as an adult.

Some answered wise words, some bitched about having to pay rent, but one of the guys dropped this straight-faced gem "coffee makes you poop". It's become a meme in my home, too. My girl likes
to say it after we eat breakfast.

To be fair, once you hit your late 30's, a lot of things make you poop.

Like food, for example
