I went 2-1 with Gruul at the Pre-Release. I actually think my pool was pretty good, I just got blown out by a Hunter's Prowess for seven in R2 G3. I'll post my decklist later.

I had silly pulls. Spirit binder, second forgestoker, and a stormbreath.

Screwed myself over by second guessing and going red-black instead of red/white like I originally wanted to. Thought the removal would be more important.
Went 1-2-1 with red/black, then switched to white cause I culd, and went 2-0, not dropping a game, let alone a match. It was silly.

So I went 3-2-1 and got nothing worth much, besides my 4th stormbreath, which is awesome, cause I was afraid I was gonna have to buy one e.e

2-2 Pre-release. I cracked an Ashiok, two Garys, Nighthowler, two of the Inspired Harpy, and a whip, so it really wanted me to play UB. Unfortunately my draws were pretty bad against some players with amazing pulls.

Returned Michael Jackson won me three games though, making me zombie kids every turn.

Makes sense. Satyrs and maenads were all about wild parties and orgies. Vicious orgies with blood and fire.

Went to my first prerelease for this set last night. I picked white as my pack and ended up playing U/W heroic, but really it was almost entirely white except for 4 cards. I went 6-1 for the night, but honestly I got lucky. My opponent in the last game of the last round threw the game by attacking all out, losing his board, instead of capitalizing on Tyramet to kill me. I think fatigue destroyed his ability to think, between it being the finals of an 8 hour tournament and that we were playing at 7-8 in the morning. I noticed that it was affecting me as well, but my endurance seemed to be better.

Unfortunately, I didn't really pull anything that amazing. My buddy did better than me in that department with less than half the packs won.

Been up since 1 am today (inventory day at work) and still managed to come home and work out/clean house/bathe dogs. I'm cooking dinner now and all I can think about how some people can't seem to "find time" to make some positive changes in their lives. If I can do it, anybody can. Granted, I'm gonna pass up playing in a Legacy tournament tonight in order to catch up on the school work I neglect throughout the week (Work has been pretty demanding since Wednesday), and I haven't even thought about Magic/Standard/Born of the Gods in days (Quite frankly, it hasn't been important right now). I guess ya gotta want the change bad enough in order to find a way.

@ham - I missed out on the rest of the stream when my computer decided to randomly restart for a metric shit-ton of updates. Usually my computer will ask me to postpone or whatnot. It basically said, "Bitch, I'm catching up. Fuck yo stream, nigga!"

Rude, thanks for nothing Windows!

I went 2-2, losing my chance to cash in a heartbreaker to Modern Goblins (FOR SHAME) in round 4 game 3 because of a misplay. Had the dude dead but I went full retard with my blocks vs. his alpha strike :)

MVP was the white instant that taps creatures and Scrys. Used it for Heroic, alpha strikes, Inspired and countering Asphyxiate
