UG is brutal for tempo decks in Theros Sealed, probably the best color combo.

Kijin you forgot the bounce Scry spell in your blue summary, that card is pretty great.

The amount of magic talk in this thread is scary. Isn't this a blathering forum?

red seems fine in this set. it has the best common removal spell and there are only 3 hard removal spells that kill the dragon at common/uncommon, iirc (lash of the whip and sip of hemlock and the 4 damage red sorcery, as well as fighting with a 4+ power creature with this set's prey on the weak, the 3cc "plummet," and the 7cc 5 damage spell, but the former is only if there's a guy who can fight and the latter two are not maindeck cards i don't think). red has the double first strike instant, it has a 4/3 for 4, it has flamespeaker adept, it has a good ordeal, and it has cards with monstrous on them. also its rares are mostly all good.
Actually Boulderfall costs 8, so I think it's fairly close to unplayable unless there's some
cooky archetype for it.

yeah Bolder Fall is straight terrible. I'd play it if I were that light on playables.

Nimbus naiad is sweet. giving something else flying is big game, at least in my pre-re. putting it on the frost breath 1/4 was my favorite.

I was a fan of that turn three into griptide something, into the W Nymph for a make your own Serra Angel

Nimbus Naiad was one of my best cards. You always wants Wind Drake, but holding it to throw an 8/8 Kraken flying into your opponents face won me more than a game.

i only ever picked it once when i noticed crackling triton go late and haven't played an actual event with these cards so i apologize i'm not rusty so much as not even out of the oven.

once you realize that the only two modes of attack are have 9/9s or be unblockable, this format is pretty easy to figure out.

has anyone had to play the 1/2 3cc bird of paradise and was it as terrible as i assume it is?

I had the UB Siren in my 4-1 pool and never activated either ability but did use it for biting at my opponents life total or blocking + Lashing something. It was fine.
i assumed it would be pretty sick since it only costs 2 and that instant speed -1/-1 card was pretty good in m13, but consider my hopes dashed.

i mean i guess you get to 5 before your opponent and then are only 2 away from most monstrous costs, but a 1/2 for 3 just seems like the worst thing ever

has anyone had to play the 2/1 artifact creature for 2 or the 2/2 white guy for 2 and exactly how much did you cry yourself to sleep that night

you could play this 2/2 for 1w or a 2/1 that taps a creature when it comes into play don't strain yourself too hard while i punch you in the face with a 3/3 for 3

I've played against every card you're asking about and my cards were better

As long as you build your deck with a plan for the RW Heroic decks, you will be fine against all those cards by default

I played the unicorn, was really not great. It did win the match one time by being able to montrouse the kraken on the draw before he monstroused his.

I probably would've just played more 2/3 and 3/3s, but i needed removal badly, (Only one was a craclking triton, no burn at all!) so i splashed white for a pair of divine verdicts.

The 3 mana BoP unicorn is a poor mans 1/2 Untap Satyr (very good card). So I'd call it playable, but barely

i figured there were a lot of things to do on turn 3 that were way better than it. that sucks, though

Also someone wiped my board with Boulderfall in a post combat blowout, so while 8 sucks, remember that you're in a slow format where dealing with 5 toughness is both important and hard to do
