Am I alone in believing this promotion sends out a powerful message of hope though?
Think about it: No matter how badly you misbehaved in your past, if you blow the staff well enough for a sustained amount of time, you can redeem yourself to the point that you can even be let into the team.
I'm sure this will make many banned members reflect on how they can make amends. All they have to do is gimmick up, spend one whole year fellating the staff, then appealing in the rape cave mentioning who that that nice user who has been giving them complimentary blowjobs really is, then fellate some more after being unbanned, and when the time is ripe, applying for some placeholder section of the site like Magic General, WCT, Debate or the Speakeasy.
