Pretty sure GW has a bad match-up versus Esper, maybe the lists are changing though

It's been gaining popularity over the last few weeks - I think Andrew Shrout played it at an SCG event and that restarted interest.

I am 2 for 2 in drafts since last nights sealed qualifier, that makes me 11-0 in Limited matches since yesterday.

Make that 14-0 as I win my third consecutive draft
I have turned the 30 tickets needed for the Qualifier into 85 tickets
Which is actually kind of weak, I have not opened any good mythics to liquidate, only low-value Theros boosters

I should probably stop while I am ahead and save these tickets to go towards UW.

Funny thing
My Sealed deck was BGu
My first draft deck was UG
My second draft deck was BG
My third draft deck was BGu
The moral of the story is play BUG in Theros Limited.

I can confirm that BUG is the strongest color wedge in THS limited.
At the GP yesterday I registered a pool that had 4 Gray Merchants and a sea of green/black playables.
My pool was... ahem... less playable.

I got a terrible pool in the Noon Qualifier. 1-2 drop.
I am 2-1 with a meh BG pool (no gray merchants) so we'll see...
But I'm going to double que with the 6pm regardless

How are you getting into them so late?

I signed up for them yesterday.
3-1

The 6pm pool is decent but I think 4-1 will be a struggle. We'll see... BG in that pool as well (trend?)

My MTGO tip of the day is always tap your lands for mana before clicking your spell or ability. Always. If you do it the other way around (which most people do) it shows me that you have a successful target. You can't bluff tapping mana to think about a spell that way. I won a game early just by tapping two Swamps for a Pharaka's Cure I didn't have. Since I always tap my lands first, my opponent never knows if I actually have it or not.

that makes sense only if you play a lot of mtgo, i didn't explain it very well

Does MTGO have any rhyme or reason as to how it places lands on the battlefield? I assumed it went
left to right sorted by type, but I got screwed playing my Koth deck when I activated the land I had played that turn and couldn't swing with it.
I use identical lands, so I couldn't tell visually.

They brought back real MOCS so it worth it (those QP your farming is for sexy alt art Leg Land) MOCS1 + MOCS3 will be next month, MOCS2 + MOCS4 will be the month after.
MOCS1 and MOCS2 have been confirmed too be Standard.

Ask Wizard, I assume its because MOCS1+2 format was decided very late into the season - so they decided rather then cramming MOCS1-3 all in the same month they would just split it up a little.
I honestly have no idea how MOCS1 is going to fire when most people have already spent the QPs on MOCS1 Cube Sealed - I might just pop in and get 1st place by default

. That said the QPs your farming for right now are going into MOCS2.

Yep, the MOCS2 prelim is Apr 16-18 and the finals 19

it kinda suck but the card is just wow... Alternative Art Tropical Island
If it makes you feel any better on 29 Jan, we start farming for MOCS3 which is Sealed Theros/Born of the Gods Sealed for Alternative Art Batterskull...
I forgot to mention MOCS1 is Alternative Art Natural Order (the non-Alt art is worth $38 right now online)... come to think of it, all 3 cards are worth over $30 so promo version should fetch $100+ in a few months
