Maybe Zeb Colter will manage him? I'd love to see that
I actually think that would make sense. I really don't think he needs a mouth piece the way Swagger does, but Coulter definitely knows how to draw heat.

I tend to agree about the TNA vs WWE thing, but TNA has some of the stupidest booking at times. It's maddening.

I mean, WWE's booking is subpar most of the time as well, but it tends to hold my interest.

Punk's return tonight is what this PPV is all about. The
product has been fairly stale without him around. The Shield, D Bryan, Damien Sandow and Jericho have been the bright spots. I'm looking forward to the Wyatt family debuting as well.
Are you buying Payback? Extreme Rules was only 3 weeks ago which is why the build-up to this PPV felt so rushed.

But you're right, TNA has some bad angles (Aces and Eights going on forever, Hulk Hogan hogging the airtime, the Jersey Shore guy) but as a whole I prefer their show. They have more respect for their audience than WWE which always feels like the writers are making shit up as they go along (read Bleacher Report for inside info on how screwy the WWE creative team is)
I'm not buying Payback. $55 (in HD) for something that could possibly suck is just something I'm not willing to do. I tend to only buy the "big" PPVs (Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam). I enjoy Money in the Bank as well. If we were more financially stable at the moment, I'd plop the cash down
based solely on Punk's return. I really hope that the rumors of Punk turning full-fledged face tonight aren't true though. His work as a top level heel can go on so much longer without getting stale, so there's no reason.
PPVs used to be 30$ when I was a kid.

Punk might turn face tonight. I read an unconfirmed report that Jericho will turn heel.
Punk will be a face tonight, regardless, since they're in Chicago. He couldn't make them boo him unless he totally turned on the Chicago sports teams. The pop he receives when his music hits is going to be the biggest of the year though.

All your talk of TNA makes me want to watch my best of the X-Division DVD. It's from the early days when Daniels, Samoa Joe and Styles were the top dogs in X.
The X-division is currently very entertaining. Kenny King is a good heel and Chris Sabin is neat to watch fly around. Even the guy playing Suicide recently has been great.

Swagger was probably going to win the title at WM but his DUI / pot arrest derailed his push. Then he gave Ziggler a concussion before injuring his hand.

It's safe to say he'll be buried for a year or two.

I haven't really followed TNA since Aries moved out of the X Division. I'll give it a shot on Thursday night.

I keep forgetting about Ziggler. If they could get him in a good program with someone other than Del Rio, he could really shine. Del Rio just seems to wrestle the same match every night.

Del Rio sucks. The crowd never gets into him and he needs a non-submission move finisher. Cross-Arm Breaker isn't exciting.

OGDEN, Utah (AP) — A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of walking into a Catholic church and shooting his father-in-law in the back of the head during Mass.

Charles Richard Jennings Jr., 35, was captured Sunday afternoon in nearby Box Elder County after fleeing in a stolen pickup truck, investigators said.

Witnesses say they heard one gunshot during the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday at Saint James the Just Catholic Church in Ogden, and that parishioners immediately hit the floor.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition. His name wasn't immediately released.

His gimmick is that he's Mexican. Maybe that would be exciting if this was 1993.
