Was just ribbing you anyway. I actually thought you guys were going to make something here. It really has petered out though. It's hard to talk about Magic here when most people are migrants from MTGS, and (let's face it) the resources there are just better. There were big plans when this started, but not much has really come of it. Instead you're a shadow without much to offer that MTGS doesn't already have.

Except for a spam thread in CI. And not being part of the Curse network. Those are definite advantages.

What the mods need to do here is infract people for rules that have yet to be written, and then when the normal members of the site make thread in the speakeasy about this and other legitimate complaints, the mods should create a thread in the lounge about how the userbase is bullying them. This will in turn create even more drama and lead into a downward spiral, on top of this they should blame everything on the gutter.

As such, I would like to again thank the iridium for adding insult to injury and using excuse after excuse for not allowing us to retain our gutter history after shutting the joint as planned. First it was "Hey SQL dumps are an extremely complex endeavor", then once that didn't flew anymore it was "Hey, there are privacy issues about moving data around and this is a huge problem", but then it doesn't seem anymore a problem when it comes to register everyone on Curse's network without their consent, heck, even banned users have the right to their own account, I'm MTGSlegacyuser20371 on Curse network now its actually pretty cool, too bad you are banned from seeing any single forum on the new beta, I guess seeing the rumor mill will be too much of a pain.

@Col. Khaddafi: That's kind of my point, you don't know how the SQL DB of vB works. Asking for an export of posts like this is a giant pain, and still a huge privacy/security breach in my opinion. As for closing the Gutter, if my only plan was to close the Gutter I don't think I would be posting here to figure out what's going on. The situation has been frustrating on both sides, but if you want to work on a solution I'm up for it. That's about it.

On a sidenote, I'd like to point out that I appreciate people trying to work with me on this, it's kind of good to move forward.

So to wrap it up, a big to everyone responsible for this, you guys conducted yourselves with the greatest of aplomb and honesty, I appreciate that you took the time to sort out all these misunderstandings to everyone's content.
