The lush forests of Naya surround you as the massive trees begin to shade the light of the evening sun. A decision must be made if you're going to have any hope of defeating Nicol Bolas, and so it is. You all crowd around Jamie, the most suspicious of the lot of you. Many agree that he must be an agent of Bolas! At least, you hope he is... Mcdonalds takes the final stand, and with the whack of a gargantuan bone, the deed is done. Jamie's body falls to the ground, caught by the carpet of moss at your feet.
With her final breath, you watch as Jamie's soul escapes her mouth, the light of her spark radiating within and floating lazily above her lips. The soul is just beginning to fade when a diffuse red light appears around the spark, shaking with energy. The light builds in intensity until, with a sudden shock, the light solidifies into bands of energy encasing the spark, and Jamie's soul. There it floats, among you all, bound to Bolas's spell. Now it can only be freed by defeating the monster himself.

It is now Night 1. No posting! Please get your actions in within the next 72 hours. I will reopen the Day on Monday morning.

Given that the site was down all day and now I'm busy, Day will start tomorrow morning instead.

Most of you try to get some sleep as the sounds of giant insects fill the Nayan night. A few stay awake, trying to catch Bolas in the act. That, however, turns out not to matter as the group is suddenly cast into complete darkness with a sharp crack of magic. In the same instant, your heart stops as you feel the tug of the magic on your soul, trying to wrench your spark from your body. But the spell wasn't focused on you and the tug slowly subsides as the darkness fades away. Everyone was of course awake at this point, except Manders. Turns out she's not just a heavy sleeper.

Manders is dead.
Manders and Jamie's sparks both float in the center of your group, bound by magic and shaking with restrained energy. Suspicions are high as the morning sun begins to filter through the tall trees. Time to get to work.

It is now Day 2. With 11 alive, it's 6 to lynch.

As for the kill, I have the impression it was random, I would have expected rianalnn to have been targeted, not Manders. I need a re-read

what do you mean by random? As in, you think there's an ability or limitation on scum that makes it random? Or as in they didn't know who to target so just picked, seemingly at random?

I fucked up and misread the ability. I thought it was for night, so I didn't submit a target for it.

In regards to the NK, I'm behind Scumbug with this one. It comes off as random to me, especially since Manders was on Tubehunter pretty hardcore. If he's actually a Bodyguard then no one really has a reason to kill him.

Summary from last night. Targeted Ria with my Bodyguard, Got role blocked. Can't use my bodyguard tonight either it seems, if i am reading stardust's pm correctly.

This is a post I need to adress.

Indeed, I haven't given much input on the accusations brought against me since it just seemed everyone was just eager to jumb aboard the votetrain without even giving a token of explanation on why they have made this choice.

Like imopen2 makes a valid point then follows up with a vote, which is more than OK, but then everyone just posts lazy oneliners like, "hell why not?", "sure lets do this", and all of the sudden I'm at L-2, claim plz... Its just lazy, and if people are not putting any significant effort in building a case against me, I really don't know why I should even bother putting up a defense against unsubstanciated votes.

Sorry if I come around as being miffed, but this is like the votetrains against TubeHunter and Jamie during day 1, I guess for those the is the excuse it was day 1, but really, there is no excuse now that we are at Day 2 and there's much more to discuss and dissect.

So yeah, I'm not really ready to claim unless someone puts some effort in building a defent case against me, think a pbp analysis, it shouldn't event be that hard, I have mostly been lurking up to now.

What I see as a good idea, besides continuing planeswalking, is to come out with a T/S list. I am going to do a reread of the game over the week-end and I'll come up with mine. I suggest people do the same, there are really no downsides for doing this at this point.
