Which is better, extripate or surgical extraction?

You think they're not good enough? I want to remove bridge from below, Ichorid etc.

If you're looking to beat up dredge, Relic of Progenitus, RIP and Leyline are much better for doing that.

Which has the broadest application?

It really depends on what you're running.

For instance, if you're REALLY worried about dredge and are playing a black deck, I'd play Nihil Spellbomb before I played Relic of Progenitus.

If you are really worried about dredge and are playing black, Leyline is probably better, you are likely going to mulligan to it (possibly due to having a bad MU without any interaction), and if you are going to mulligan, you may as well go straight for the throat

More cards that produce Thopters just spoiled. Also an artifact lord. Also a five mana Cataclysm except its caster gets to choose for everyone.

This set is bonkers and I can't wait until the prerelease.

Depending on what you're running and what you board out yixlid jailer can also be good against dredge, especially if they're on the wispmare plan.

This is my list:

http://decks.deckedbuilder.com/d/84344

The Surgical / Extripate slot was originally Slaughter Games but I found it sloww enough that I never got to cast it.

Trying to tweak it as I see fit. There is a lot of counter top in my meta.

Definitely Nihil spellbomb

You may try a split between that and graftdiggers cage

It's become a popular strategy in decks like Maverick and a lot of Deadguy Ale pilots are adopting the strategy.

Choke is better than blood moon right now, Miracles, Omni, and grixis aren't punishing your mana that much, all of which don't care about a resolved blood moon (miracles even being known to play it) and there is less BUG strategies to punish than there were several months ago.

Deed is better in Deadguy Ale because it's much better at the attrition game than Jund. If you were playing a less aggressive list without Rabblemaster, I'd consider it.

EE comes in against Elves, Lingering Souls decks, Death and Taxes, and matchups where you want a catchall that can also blow up hateful permanents.

I'll play that :D - though it looks like it would suffer Mana Problem quite badly (its rather heavy).

Evolutionary Leap is pretty overpriced. I think SCG had it right at $2 IPO.

Bare in mind the card could go up to $20 at some point (because Standard). I'm saying Birthing Pod was $4 and capped at $10 before it was banned and that this card is not Birthing Pod.

I think it'd be a good idea to buy that card that reduces the cost of Enchantments now. In the short term while Theros is still legal, that card is probably going to go wild for GB. It'd be a good place to shortsell.

Birthing Pod capped higher than that, didn't it? Wasn't it nearing $20 somewhat recently?
