Also makes Wojek Halberdiers and Boros Reckoner nuts.

So we're at my friend's house drinking and drafting my common/uncommon cube.
I'm playing Grixis. My opponent is playing UW lockdown. (Lots of tap mechanics.)
We're both board stalled, his only creature is a Wall of Tanglecord. My only creature is a Nivix Guildmage. We've hit each other for some damage with bears early into the game, I'm at 13, he's at 14.
A few turns roll by, we're both land/go'ing. (My hand is full of random creature removal which I'm not wasting on a Wall of Tanglecord until I pull a threat.)
Go to draw my card, reveal Thunderous Wrath with exactly 9 mana on the board. "15 you?" His reply? "I'm too fucking buzzed for this. Wow."
GG'd bitch.

I'll grab a playset if I manage to get at least 3-1 in this daily. Currently 2-0 so things are looking good.
Also, somebody is mad at being beaten by the mirror.
Turn 1 Noble, Him Flinthoof, Turn 2 Spear and attack(20,19), Him Shocks himself (20,17) Boros Reckoner, Turn 3 VS on Noble attack(20,13), Him Mauler+Mauler and attacks (13,13), Turn 4 Spear Reckoner (10,13) and Pillar Mauler then attack (10,8), He casts Flinthoof and binds Stromkirk and attacks with those two only (6,8), then I cast the VS I had in my opening hand on Stromkirk for the lethal.
Then this:

Thoughts with you as well Vala.
exhausted now, will catch up later. Legion's is down to $3 for a mythic? Yeah I'd stock up on them alex style if I was serious about making money on magic...
One of my friends that went to the SCGOpen with me+Alex's words (about not going to big events) made me realize that its a lot easier to make money off magic trading than trying to be pro/good at the game.
Gonna have to keep it in mind that I play for fun and the game, and not get sucked into traveling around to huge events just to be disappointed (except Vegas, because nothing about Vegas will be disappointing)

probably wrong, but I was playing red and just took a 6th pick greater gargadon. What's the worst that can happen?

I'll be in Vegas but things might shore up so that I don't get to go to the GP. Just found out I won't have a car, so I'll be taking a cab everywhere.

Totally badass iron maiden reference, photo.
Alas, the mana gods decided to forsake me in the top 4 round and I lost to some awful 5 color homebrew. Oh well!, at least I'm drunk.

3-1 on the MODO daily losing to mono-red in the last round. Was running RG Sligh 35-4-21 without Domri's on board (because I don't have them yet). I drained my luck on the previous rounds and my last game had me actually flooding and making a bad keep on the last game (kept 3 Mountains, Zealot, VS, and Ghor-Clan). Managed to cheat the GCR into play when I drew a BTE but a Pyreheart already resolved on the other side which was bad.

That's probably a great hand on the play and a hard hand to mull on the draw.
Also, Fates write-up was hilarious.

I knew you'd appreciate the reference...saw Maiden on Palladia a couple of weekends ago and thought of you. Sorry to hear that the mana turned sour; be safe and enjoy the trip to WallyLand!

Well, if it makes anyone feel better, you've got a pretty long break of bad shit happening to the characters you don't like instead of the ones you do.

It's funny reading the reactions to "The Rains of Castamere." Characters who do stupid things reap the consequences of their actions. Ned, Robb, and others learn this to their regret.

If you do, you'll at least get a hell of a skydiving trip on the way down
In all seriousness, have a safe flight!

So I've never watched GoT, but this video makes me want to:
If it makes you feel better Khaos, I flew on planes for a living and I'm still here? On the other hand, I've heard stories about how unsafe civilian aircraft are since they'll basically always take off no matter what the problem is so...DON'T DIE BUDDY

Just landed in Atlanta to grab some more people. I've been tempted to yell, "THERE'S SOMETHING ON THE WING!" for the last half hour.
