Quitting time is coming quickly as the twelve of you continue to debate over who is going to die today. You would stay longer, try to make the right decision before murdering a fellow innocent, but company policy is that all overtime must be preapproved by the Postmaster General. Given that he's lying dead on the floor right now, that's leaves you stuck between putting your life on the line or breaking the rules. The choice is as obvious as that obnoxious motivational
poster hanging in the corner: policy is there for a reason.
Finally, you come to a consensus. Seven of you crowd around rcwraspy as he backs into the corner. "No! I didn't do it!" he cries with his thick Greek accent. "I'm innocent! ... But now that we're talking, would you be interested in trying some free samples?"
None take the freebies as Mogadishu Jones picks up a letter opener. rcwraspy's eyes are wide with fear as Jones approaches him, stabs him fourteen times, then searches his body. In the folds of rcwraspy's toga, Jones finds a letter...
rcwraspy's Role PM
rcwraspy, you are Pheidippides, Immoral Spammer.
The original messenger, you invented both mail service and the marathon at the same time[/i:
1oom40az] way back in 500 BC. No one, not even your coworkers, ever appreciated that. But, you’ve gotta pay the bills somehow. Spam mail pays an extra half-penny per letter delivered, and you’ve become pretty damn good at it in the last couple millennia. This current postal service is a sham anyway. Bring back the good old days of running naked door to door! The postman was meant to be free! You win when the Postal Service is under your command. Abilities: During the day, you may vote.
You may communicate with the mafia using this quicktopic: xxx Spam Habit (static) – All messages you send must be worded like spam mail. This is up to mod discretion, so please check with me and try to submit it early, if possible. Steal (1-shot) – Once this game, at Night, you may target a player. If they would receive mail this Night, you receive it instead. You must leave a
message for them (minimum 50 words). Forge (1-shot) – Once this game, at Night, you may target a player. If they send mail this Night, you may alter the contents of that message (you cannot change the recipient or return address, if signed). You must leave a message for the targeted player (minimum 50 words).
Encouraged by your success today, you all hurry home. You'd best get writing if you want your mail to get delivered on time!
It is now Night 1. No posting! Night actions (including mail) are due 72 hours from the time of this post (Thursday at noon CST, UTC-6).

You all come into work the next day, ready to sort some mail and lynch some scummers. Well, not quite all of you. imopen2 never showed up for work today. "He was probably just feeling sick this morning probably! I know I sometimes get sick sometimes!" chirped Cursed_Pride, but no one else is quite as optimistic. So dedicated are you to the cause of hunting down this scum that you all skip your morning coffee break to go check imopen's house. When you arrive, all that's left is a charred corpse sitting in front of a computer screen.
imopen2, you are Reba the Mail Lady, Postal Programmer.
Pee-Wee’s Playhouse went downhill
pretty quickly after he was caught exposing himself to minors. But you found a new job soon enough, working on computers back at the office. You’ve got to wonder at these people still hand writing mail. Do they just not realise that email exists? Snail mail is the way of the past! The internet is a higher form of communication! You win when all threats to the Postal Service have been eliminated. Abilities: During the day, you may vote. The Way of the Future (static) – Mail you send is restricted to 140 characters and must also include a meme image.
Disheartened, you return to work to finish this business.
It is now Day 2. With 10 alive it is 6 to lynch.

Damn it! I sent Iamopen2 mail during the night. He was one of my strongest town reads besides InflateablePie who nailed scum day one.
Vote LMD
I think they (RCW and LMD) stayed away from each other day one. LMD also never voted RCW as I recall.
I think Jack bussed RCW, or he is a serial killer. Pure speculation, but my gut says something is wrong as he posting without any actual reads or reasons why he voted RCW or LMD.
To the Mod and everyone, I will be busy tonight, most of friday, and all day Saturday. I am going to Lubbock, TX PD to get more chances in getting a PD job. I will check in Friday evening to scum hunt and respond to folks. Saturday will be "full of fun and adventure" (points to whoever gets that movie quote" as I am taking a written exam and PT test.
Please send the good vibes as I will appreciate them.

I don't understand how this night kill relates to Red. What's going to clear Red is him backing up his claim.
Who'd you watch, Red?

Lynch Vote: Jack

Why is LMD town to you. What has he done to solidify himself as town? I am voting LMD cause of little to contact with RCW, Lmd did not vote RCW when he could have, and the one sum tell of LMD for future votes. I would throw in the "Probably clears Red" bit, but he could find Red town by InflateablePie asking him to join in a successful scum vote.
If I like your reasons; I will support a Jack vote.

@Rez, Are you still interested in a LMD vote? Did you see a careful correspondence with RCW and LMD? Meaning they seemed to avoid each other? Same goes for Jack when i think about it. If you have any questions; I can answer them Friday night (posted before 6pm). I have to get up at 4:30 AM to be at the Lubbock testing center saturday.
-He also had a moment of townie indignation (I pointed it out somewhere) that makes me think he's likely town.
Jack's in the typical bus spot (fifth on the wagon) and was hopping between the wagons.

I watched C_P because I expected him to not lie about receiving mail.
He actually did receive a single letter, but I'd rather prefer to have him say if I can reveal who sent the package.

Your list is missing me and the dude who replaced CM for RCW.
Looking back, I can see where you could get a NULL to TOWN vibe in certain time spans. Not really thrilled with your evidence, but Jack is in that 5th spot. He did ask for a vote on LMD with no reason. He also failed to answer any of my questions on that matter just as RCW did. Hmmmmmm....as I talk it out in my head; a vote on Jack makes more sense as LMD and Jack don't appear scum buddy viable.
unvote
VOTE JACK
Alright. LMD probably wasn't getting those last 2 votes anyway.
Unvote
Vote rcwraspy
Iamopen2 voted RCW before Jack did and here Jack only moves his vote to get the greater wagon
going. No support information or recognition is given to InflateablePie for his work on why RCW is scum to Jack. If he saw Iamopen2 as the swing vote for moving a RCW vote forward; it could be motive for why scum chose Iamopen2 for night 1.

@wraith: It really bothers me that you brought up a serial killer.
This game has players casting votes without reasons why (2 players). Jack asking the weird question, asking for a LMD wagon, and flipping to RCW without a reason beyond "must lynch someone" seems different in a manner that trips me as a "no team" player. Either that is newb scum or something else as it is a great departure from his normal posting in my opinion. Also, this is going postal mafia. I would expect to see some kind of extra kill player beyond the scum players. Whether they are town or not is hard to call. I have been pondering about this for a few days now and thinks it needs to brought to towns attention. My gut is rumbling about this.
Over night, I Roleblocked
LMD cause I think he is scum. His inactivity, dissociation with many, and lack of scum hunting put him as my top scum pick after Jack. I now have them at equal levels of suspicion.
@red: you should probably say that.

I did vote raspy mostly just because his wagon was most likely get 7 votes. However, I think the only scum on his wagon would be found in the first 4 votes. The last 4 came in an hour before the deadline, so it would be a far better plan for scum to just wait for the day to time out rather than end it early by killing their teammate. A lynch wasn't inevitable, and I think mafia would have loved for the day to end with 6 votes on raspy and town not even getting so much as a word from him.

"prolly cleared town" bit is in reference to Imopen answering the question I asked him the beginning of day 1, I had a hunch the two of them maybe scum together if one was in fact scum due to imopen answering his question for him.
Missed the bit about him being a watcher though

Oh, ok.
C_P seems to have received mail from rezmo-san.
I'm using the conditional because we've already seen scum being able to forge fake mails, so I'd like the two of them to confirm my claim before I get extra-paranoid.
