I don't think Into the Wilds really does much for you here, care to give me your take on it's function in the deck?

There's a guy at my LGS who's tinkering with the concept, so take this with everything that implies, but he says he tried the "just gates" land package but decided pretty quickly that it needed shocklands as well, I think he's got like a 12/12/2 split between shocks/gates/Mutavaults.

Edit- with like 2 of the game-winning land in there as well.
