Welcome to Peddle Mafia

Peddle mafia is a complex setup for 16 players, and includes different game mechanics compared to a regular game. This game will contain multiple factions fighting for turf control of the drug trade and the Law trying to stop them. This game contains no lynch or night kill but other mechanics in place. The game was designed by me and approved by Iso, so you know its going to be fun!
Mafia Rules
1. Bold your votes and unvotes please, this makes it easier for your moderator. They should look like this: Vote Madding.

2. If you are unvoting, please write Unvote Madding rather than just Unvote as this makes the vote counts easier and more accurate.

3. Any votes or unvotes not in bold will not be counted.

4. Do not communicate at night
unless your role PM says otherwise.

5. Do not quote PMs or you will be modkilled. You may discuss the flavor and paraphrase it in your own words, but do not quote any PM. Do not crypto-claim either.

6. Unvote before casting a new vote. Failure to unvote may result in the vote not being counted.

7. Please do not edit or delete your posts no matter how stupid a mistake you made. This will get you modkilled.

8. If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 72-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Otherwise, you may be prodded or replaced.

9. Do not discuss the game outside of this thread unless your role PM says otherwise.

10. Feel free to PM me for questions or clarifications.
Game specific rules:

Voting will not decide a lynch, but instead decide on who will be the "Judge" the following day. Here is the judge role:
Judge
You have been chosen as the Judge

You may pick one of the following sentences &#
40;Crossed out has already been picked)

-Lack of evidence (Player resumes play after you PM this to me)
-Diplomatic immunity (Player resumes play after you PM this to me)
-Bribe (Player resumes play the night after you PM this to me)
-Bail (Player resumes play the following day)
-Possession charge (Player resumes play in 2 days time)
-Drug trafficking (Player is imprisoned for the rest of the game)

Once you pick a choice it will be crossed out and will not be able to pick again in the future. Once all options are picked players are automatically charge with trafficking
Police at night can attempt to investigate a player. All successful investigations by the Police are made public and the judge will decide the fate of the player. All judge choices are also made public.

Players sent away do not count towards the number of players in a faction.

Once a majority of votes on a player are reached, that day is over and the
following day the player voted will be the judge. Anyone can become a Judge.

Cartels will attempt to recruit at night by selling drugs.

The win con for all factions is to become the majority faction.

Drugs lords stare across the city with grins on their faces. A city free for the taking and corrupting with different substances. They will have to dodge the law and peddle drugs, all while challenging the competition and taking over with your power. THE WORLD IS YOURS, go out and take it, corrupt the system and crush all competition.

Only way that will happen is if everyone decides early on that I'm Town and just trusts me because I'm AWESOME as confirmed Town.

Scum have a tendency to delay their own confirmation so they can discuss pre-game, especially if they don't have Day-chat. (And, no, I don't know if they do or don't. I'm just saying.)

I wouldn't trust that there's no Night-kill mechanic. Scum have to be able to kill at Night, at least sometimes, or the game wouldn't be balanced.

Iso may be a bastard, but he'd never approve an un-balanced game.

Would like you to explain to me why you claimed vanilla, and posted this, with a cult mechanic in this game (I'm presuming)?

Sure, you might be considered confirmed town for the first Day, but considering this is a game where we have to dust our reads lists off and start from the beginning each Day, I'm interested as to why you did this.

Oh, the faction thing?

Because, CM told me we'll all be factions eventually. We have no idea what the factions will be. From what the rules are saying, I think there's a Cartel head or two, and they'll be Town. I believe the Police are already scum and will stay that way throughout the game. I have no idea how they handled "if you attempt to recruit Scum" scenarios, though.

This is why I was hesitant to play this game. Too many unknowns in the mechanics.

Regardless, self-voting is frowned upon in Mafia. Some mods include suicide mechanics against this.

Plus, WE don't know you're Town. If everyone insists on voting themselves to be safe,
the game will go nowhere.
