As deliberations reached the forth consecutive day, tensions began to reach unbearable levels.

They were tired, broken, saddened individuals. The last three days had held more death and disappointment than they had ever wished to know. But the end would justify the means. They would not be lost for nothing. Those who had passed through Heaven's door would not be forgotten. Their deaths would not go to waste.

This day the town of Peaceville had to get it right. For today, a mistake could mean defeat.

It was Wraith223 who pointed the first finger. With a passion and fervor unmatched by any in the room, he stood up and shoved rezombad out of his chair. He knew this thing to be the scum he was. He could feel it in his bones - and he
would no longer let him make a fool of his town by being present at this meeting.

Others found themselves apprehensive; fearful of that crucial misstep, some time passed until zemanjaski threw his support in that same direction.

Surely this was correct. This had to be. It just felt so right. The citizens of the town were more sure than ever of this being one they sought.

As the remaining townies ultimately agreed upon their victim, a sound emerged from the corner of the room.

"Gentleman, it's been lovely spending oh-so-much time with you all these last couple days...but I do believe the time has come to put an end to this."

In the corner, holding the ceremonial spade that had taken the life of several people that very same week, RedNihilist approached the now subdued rezombad.

"I'd like to...well...we'd like to thank you kindly for finding the last of the
rubbish for us. I can tell you already you were on the right track; it's a shame you were in the wrong traincar this whole time, eh?"

With a smile that belied any bit of remorse his face falsely shown, RedNihilist raised the spade above his head and brought it down upon rezombad's neck.

Blood, sadness, anger, fear, loss, regret...

...and such bitter, bitter coldness.

"Now that that's out of the way, your services are no longer needed. I'm sorry, but there is no place for you folk in my city."

He was a modest man, raised from a decent home. He devoted his life to helping others. His only lot in life was to save.

Stardust started home after the third consecutive day of failure. He cursed himself, wishing he could have done more - done something. Every day more people turned up dead. And here he was without a clue as to who was perpetrating such vile acts upon his beloved townsfolk.

He arrived at his home after a short walk. Stardust unlocked his door, stepped inside, and immediately threw himself upon his bed. Exhausted and downtrodden, he decided his clothing would make suitable sleep garments this night, and closed his eyes.

And so, after a sleepless reprive at their homes, the citizens reconvene the third Day of the Peaceville summit.

Paralyzed with fear, everyone is aware of forces working against them. Evil forces. It's not a matter of if, now. It was a matter of whom.

Everyone files in. Seats are taken.

Two remain vacant.

The Peaceville summit was drawing close to the end of the second day.

As the sun crept over the horizon, tensions mounted. None wished for this meeting to pass without a body.

Many cases were brought to the table. Some people screamed. Some spat accusations and names in equal measure. Some people went for a time without speaking. One man even left and was replaced with another.

In the end, it was DroppinSuga who was dragged to the podium.

Once again, the spade was brought down.

I hope we get a replacement, but is it a good idea to lynch Murphy instead of having him modkilled? Or better yet, if he does end up getting modkilled we vote no lynch if he flips
town?

The town's first attempt at purging the evil within their ranks proved unsuccessful. Defeated, all return to their houses, the proceedings held in recess for the night.

Well, maybe not all of them. For some, there was work to be done that night. Five, in fact, would find themselves not making it under their covers.


The next day the citizens return to the Town Hall to continue the summit. One by one, they file in and take their seats once more. Yet...something seems to be off. Perhaps...

...yes. There are fewer here than there were yesterday!

With a renewed sense of urgency and terror, the town begins deliberating once again.


Day 2 has begun. With 11 alive, it is 6 to lynch.

Soon after all arrived, the heated discussion began. Fingers were pointed. Names were called. People told others to die in a fire. Some even posted gifs because why the fuck not?

All were aware of the evil that had infiltrated their numbers, but who among them needed to die?

Hours passed. The rising sun began peeking through the drawn curtains. Tensions rode high. Finally, one man was chosen to be the first to leave this existence.

Freedom was immediately grabbed by the shoulders and taken to the podium behind the table. Someone removed their belt and bound his wrists. Malace shown in everyone's eyes. This one. This man was evil. He was here to destroy and subjugate; keep the city of Peaceville in disarray. This man needed to die.

Fate grabbed the ceremonial spade from the table and struck Freedom from behind with it upon his
legs forcing him into a kneel.

Fate handed the shovel to Stardust. Stardust looked Freedom in the eyes deeply, as if the stare alone could stop his beating heart. It didn't. However, the spade took care of that. Swung with all the fervor he could muster, Stardust married the edge of the spade to Freedom's temple.

A sputter. A sound of collapsing weight. Dead.

The rest of the folk immediately began searching Freedom's body. Looking for any sign or insignia; proof of Mafia affiliation.

The search was brief.
