Why Stormbreath Dragon? Because its good against UW, Bg (decay, BB, cure does nothing), Ux Devotion and is strong vs Gx

Why Boros Reckoner? Because I couldn't justify Anger, so he is my 1 sided board sweep on legs and because he is good against Gx, Rx and Wx too an extent....

Why 2x [
card]Banishing Light[/card] MD? Because I ALWAYS wanted to play 4x chains MD but I couldn't justify it.

Will I post my SB plans? If we have enough people interested in debating the theoretical MUs sure.... but it may turn out too be fruitless.

I like the creature based in list 1-3 for an aggressive meta game, I really dislike Searing Blood without Ash so if I want to run Blood (which you do vs Aggro) I'll also force Ash into the list.

I should note that I'm rather bias with cards like Flames.

Purp you play online (I mean MTGO) right? You've must have noticed that Aggro decks have spiked up which pushed Jund into no.4 and in turn pushed up Devour Flesh and friends.

Hexproof went from No.6-7 into no.13 as a result. Thus I believe that you may see them in the first few weeks or in local/SCG event for awhile but I doubt you'll see them in a months time or in GP (not as long as Bx and Control stay dominate).

I'm going to build my post JOU list to focus on beating the anti-Aggro lists for the first week and carry on from that point.

good answer **** I hated the Bg Devotion MU so I was really happy when they fazed out.

Hmmmm.... I might need too reassess Ash Zealot + Searing Blood approach so I can and go for the aggressive angle.

BG devotion probably replaces mono-black as the best deck

BG was rather big a few weeks before BNG was released, but MonoB Devotion ended up performing better overall so people gave up on it.

What changed? I don't think O-Rings will be ran enough to make Decay THAT big of a spell.

Purp can you share your sideboard plans against BG and Aggro decks? I never really had problems against these brews even during mocs level events (in the mocs all my losses were against Ux devotion (two of them....)) granted I was playing Pyrowhite for mocs .

I also highly recommend running 4x Shock

How can we prepare this deck for the guaranteed influx and success of hexproof?

I'm also really concerned about this MU, I figured we could answer them with Banishing Light except they'll just answer our Banishing Light with Banishing Light......

Maybe Mana Confluence or Blood Crypt splash for devour flesh - that said Hexproof is rather weak against Bx Devotion and Control as long as those two decks stay on top Hexproof numbers shouldn't be overwhelming.

I didn't think about the walling side, since I usually think about Boros Reckoner as that ideal defensive/offensive card at 3cc.

That said he does sound slightly better now in burn....

I can see Prophetic Flamespeaker in RDW, but doesn't he seem like win-more in burn?

Its quite horrible when your behind, though I'll admit he'll help in closing down a game faster....

RDW has actually been doing quite well recently, I wonder how RDW vs Wx Weenies is going to turn out.

Wouldn't Boros Charm be better then Font of Ire here? Boros Charm to save your team or on Boros Reckoner is usually quite nice.

looks rock solid Elricity, except I'll go -4x T//T on the draw for +2x Boros Charm vs Bx Devotion.

I think Prophetic Flamespeaker is questionable in a deck with Spark Trooper and 8 terror effects (4x Chains, 2x Banishing Light and 2x Searing Blood) unless your behind, in which case the speaker won't get the swing in anyways .

IDK, if we're packing 4x Chains and 2-4x O-Rings the dancer are going too be rather lack luster...

Definitely, if GW, Monsters and Dredge picks up as well I could see it claim a 2x slot in the SB.

That said I'll try my earnest to avoid placing it into the board unless the meta truly demands it.

Except in hexproof or junk, hitting an early jace is big game as well (ignoring Jace is incorrect unless your close to winning).

Keep in mind playing 4x Chains is rather risky because of control with O-ring you can do it without damaging any of your MUs that badly.

It answers everything and is never a dead card (+ I'm bias and I love O-Ring....).

Skullcrack MD seems weak especially in the early going of the format. Searing blood will def be better.

Hmmmm, I'm usually inclined to agree with this comment (the other grinders say the same) early on in the format the odds of facing aggro is quite high.

It just in JOU case, wizard gifted wrapped cards for Hexproof (new creature + land) and UW control (O-Ring and maybe the starfish or sheep) thus I'll be concerned to go without some number of Skulls.

I'm not really loving Searing Blood Pre-JOU without Ash but if Wb is out in force the Bloods will be handy.

I'm glad you notice the weakness with Mana Confluence, unless the meta switches into pure control and attrition decks it won't be THAT much better then gates (at least for us since we primarily attack via spells).

You may have misread Eidolon of the Great Revel, he targets the player which plays the spell under 3cc or less - thus in burn he'll end up killing us

In regards with Spite of Mogis if it was an instant speed spell it may of had a place as a 2x but at sorc speed MM would just be better more consistence.
