There was a period between starting to redo the footer and when I added this, but it was just an interim period. I still have a few others things I want to do down there too. It's all iterative design.

We have this amazing thing there called an active developer who is willing to fix things.
It's amazing what even just one person with a different full time job, family, son's softball practice, etc etc, can still do if they're actually motivated to actually fix things and make adjustments.

Generally just magic. There's an off-topic, magic humor, etc, but we're fairly magic-focused.

Almost no one who was on staff at that time is staff now, many not even active on site, and definitely not the admins who promised such back then. So I'm not even sure who you're trying to insult when you say "you guys". If you mean me, I was on sabbatical during then, and - funny enough - the only places I ever really visited during those couple years was the gutter and forum games.

Regardless, no one on site staff has access to the sql servers.
The only thing I can do with the access I have is reopen the gutter, so that's what I did.

Oh, and note that a chunk of the threads and posts evaporated during the GDPR crap a few months back. Whoever "user-11110615" was, he/she was unfortunately the owner of quite a few posts and threads, and I can't restore them.

My twitter response saying that we hope to offer everyone a clean slate on our new home stands. Even if some of you make me instantly question that ... *cough*raid?*cough*. I'm sure some of you will prove me right, realize most of the people from 7 years ago don't even come around much let alone not even part of the staff anymore, and join our community just to do basic things like build decks and talk about modern or edh.
