Fallout came before BBE and didn't do much to stop the fae. It helped, but it wasn't enough by itself.Faeries was the best deck until BBE came along. Then it was just another deck. It thrived against Doran Rock and other Tarmogoyf decks, as well as against red aggro and combo.
Volcanic Fallout came shortly after, the nail in the coffin. They printed that card just to stop Faeries, to put things in perspective.

I personally think Pain Seer is complete trash. It requires a lot to make it work well. My prediction is $1 or less in a couple months' time. Are most people predicting a price drop in Pain Seer? It's hovering around the $6-7 mark right now.
BNG overall has some cool cards, but nothing too powerful. I'm excited for a switch-up to Limited. Theros limited is fun enough, but fairly linear - it needed new cards to make it interesting again. Overall, not as disappointed as everyone else seems to be.

"Oh, you're Canadian! Very good, very nice. Not like American tourists... tsk tsk tsk. Wait. You're not French Canadian, are you?"Fact: Americans are the worst. There are enough good people in the clan to give me pause, but then I remember both my trips there and every American tourist I've had the misfortune to meet in anothe country.

Or Zombify or Victimize or Animate Dead or Necromancy... Even Rise of the Dark Realms costs less total mana!Sigh...so true. I would rather use Genesis for getting my stuff back.

He's like a better Recurring Nightmare!
His first ability is obviously awesome. The whole package though is pretty slow. It would have to be a pretty perfect board state for me to want to draw this guy, let alone pay 7 mana for that honour.

Now that's commitment. To set out for Mars knowing full well that you will likely never again set foot on Earth, and running the risk of dying a slow death if the solar panels break down. It will be many decades before they have the infrastructure there to get back out to space, let alone set a course for Earth.
Cool stuff, but I doubt those 200 000 applicants have really thought it through.

The choice to add +1/+1 counters is made as the creature enters (not when) so it's a replacement effect (not a trigger) and does not go on the stack. Anything that triggers "if its tribute wasn't paid" will go on the stack.Does anyone happen to know how the Tribute mechanic might go on the stack? I've been thinking about Phoenix and possible janky EDH sac-and-reload interactions. I dunno.

Mostly I wasAnyone care to explain to me the the watchdog thread about my poste? Much abliged if done. To tired from work to think right now. http://community.ist.utl.pt/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=1977
If Stardust thinks I am a moderator in disguise; he needs too use an enama or eat an El Paso taco while in his office pondering. His first sentence about me tying him to the moderators was off or as usual, I need to sleep on it/shoot at the range some to get it. I fell for the satire and thought it was real on this website from MTGS on cyber bullying. I think he mistunderstood me as I was refering to charges against the corruption thread (not in support of MTGS
moderators, but still wrong as it was satire)?
We need to create a history of corruption thread by MTGS moderators for those of us who can't live on the computor as much as some of you. The tid bits of hatred build a picture, but its hazy without good context or original posts (evidence and I need to see the body from the medical examiner). Lastly, if Dropping Sugar warrents more investigation beyond what we know; Stardust's office must be in the possum cops restroom. I didn't know where to poste this as I could not find the key to the bathroom (the one with the giant metal dildo chained to it) at the gas station.
[Still support you Stardust, but you are getting the Gibb's stare from me].
On another note, I was at Top Brass Military Tactical in San Antonio, TX and thought of you Redthirst. They had Camo condumns. Now they really will never see you cuming.
The corruption thread with the cypher is f'ing worthless to me. Who the hell has time to read that shit.
reading this post and wondering what the hell this guy is smoking.

Okay, you're up, super sleuth.Stardust is reading this thread. Is he looking for corruption? Or for clues for a mafia game because we can't seem to stop talking about it? Hrm... maybe they're related. Will need to write down my notes and attach them to the end of the toilet paper roll for safe keeping.
