Kaze was just going to cover for me over the Chirstmas season, but given that this is taking longer to fill than I expected and that activity is likely to drop anyway, I'm going to delay the game start to the new year. I think it'll be easier that way. I hate to stall the queue, so if any of you have a major issue with this (TubeHunter? ) you can PM Kaze and ask him to get his game started early. I have no problem with that.

Assuming we fill up over the holiday season, this game will start January 7th.

Probably some time next week. I'm hoping Day 1 will take a little while though since I'm going on vacation. Kaze has agreed to run vote counts while I'm gone.

Sorry. Mogis does play a role in the storyline of this game though, so it's not a total loss.

Theros. A land ruled over by the Pantheon of immortal gods. Some kind, some fair, some violent, but together they have kept things in balance on Theros for millennia. Grudges and betrayal (and more than a little infidelity) have always been common among the gods, but the balance of power always found an equilibrium. It was that equilibrium that kept Theros stable and secure throughout its long history.

Then everything was changed by one fateful act...





Welcome to the Theros Pantheon! In this mafia game you are a god of immeasurable power. Fight to restore the balance or fight to take power for yourself, the choice is yours.

I like my games a bit more
flavour driven than most, so role names will be public. As such, you can choose one of the 13 characters when you sign-up - first come, first served. If you choose no one, one of the remaining gods will be chosen at random. The thirteen roles:

*Athreos - The divine ferryman, Athreos sails the rivers that ring the world, carrying the dead to the Underworld... and calling on griffins and demons to gather the strays.
*Ephara - God of shelter and protector of the polis Meletis, she granted the mortal people the power necessary to defeat the evil archon Agnomakhos.
*Erebos - God of the dead, Erebos was born from the first shadow cast by Heliod's light. Banished to the Underworld, he accepts his fate and rules over all things deceased.
*Heliod - God of the Sun, his presence fills the sky with light. Heliod represents law, justice, honour... and retribution.
*Iroas - God of war and
the patron of Akros, those who worship him seek honour and victory in battle.
*Karametra - God of the hearth and of agriculture, Karametra values civilization over the wilds. She is the patron god of Setessa.
*Keranos - God of storms and visions, Keranos controls the skies and can change his mood as quickly as the weather.
*Kruphix - God of prophecy and horizons, Kruphix opens the eyes of many to new mysteries and knowledge.
*Nylea - God of the hunt, Nylea tends to the wilds of Theros, often with lethal consequences for those who would threaten it.
*Pharika - God of potions and poisons, basilisks and cures, Pharika is worshipped in Setessa's Winter Nexus.
*Phenax - God of deceit and lies, Phenax is also associated with the Returned, the dead who have escaped the Underworld.
*Purphoros - God of the forge, of fire and passion,
Purphoros is the divine blacksmith, crafting the landscape and stirring the hearts of both men and god alike.
*Thassa - God of the sea, of secrets, murmurs and gradual change, Thassa is revered and appeased by any and all who venture out to sea.
