Of course, I haven't played a game of Magic in over a month and haven't played Standard in any real capacity in nearly a year so it's very possible I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

New City makes the Aggro shells that were possible with the m10 lands viable again. With 8 ETB untapped lands that can produce your main and off color you can do a lot more than with only 4 - Dos Rakis, here I come.

As far as Standard goes, he's probably going to be more useful in a little dudes deck that just want to attack. You can inflict more damage than you'll take from him by attacking. And then your opponent will take some damage from trying to stop your onslaught if they play some removal spells.
Yup. Taking damage isn't too big of a deal as long as your opponent takes more.
