@mdu, hoeiberg why run satyrs over cacklers? cackler has the same power with more toughness and though you cant block with it unleashed, if you were to block with satyr you'd take that damage anyways. the only pro to satyr is that it can scale up to take out bigger things while it kills you.

You will NOT have a mainboard with Loyalists and no Satyrs. Also, I think it's worth considering Nykthos in that list. It might not be better than Mutavault, but I'd suggest trying it out if you haven't already. I'm was worried about the loss of damage from running loyalist over satyr at first too ...

@dauntless i like the idea of a single glare for control over a 3rd crack, deals with what you mentioned plus opposing elspheth's. rod is tech against mow, where last breath does the same for cheap at the cost of healing your opponent it can also be used on your own creatures in a pinch for lifegain...

Just my thoughts on it but yp$ is better off in pyro-red since without the white for chains its more slots for spells to pump out tokens. I believe zem said the minimum spell count you want is 12 for him.

From my experience running rakhammer last standard on 3 dragons you'll want to run 24 land to geth then out closer to curve , and not that your aiming to make them monstrous but 24 will help you hit that soon too.

I think functionally you could trade a mending touch for another charm, but for the charms upsides it also costs another mana and the deck only runs 9 red sources but 16 green so its a toss up and testing of mana availabilty would need to be done

I'm strongly considering building this to play against my friend who usually runs decks similairly themed to this, though I'lI have to opt for the fleecemanes in place of vioce just due to the pricetag and fleecemane i think would be the next best thing.

@ham my friend homebrewed an semi devo black deck with whips, he play grey merchant sac it somehow and recur it for huge gains. not sure on the exact cards he runs i havnt played against him in the past couple weeks.

unless the card breaks the bank i'd probably run just red 1 drops being that in a mostly red deck hitting red on t1 land drop will be easier then hitting your splashed color since if your not running basics for it you'd only have 4 t1 source of the splashed color
