I just don't understand how if you don't think it's okay for a brother to judge/look out for/bash on his brother, then why in the world do you think it's okay for you to bash on anyone for (a) something he may or may not even do, (b) something he's not obligated to do anyway, and (c) something that he's not doing in EXCESS of what he's already doing that will help others...Why isn't it out of line? Did his brother steal something of his to buy drugs? Does he always screw up and expect Khaos to fix it, and one day Khaos got fed up with it? Did they get into an argument where his brother said something way over the line?I agree with you to some degree on this matter, but aren't you the guy who said Khaos punching his methhead brother for doing meth was was out of line because what his brother was doing didn't effect him? Or something like that.I have an opinion about someone else's choices based on what I would do in the same situation. I'm sorry that this upsets you so much.
Lolk.
If his brother is just doing drugs and it in no way affects Khaos's life, then yeah, I do think punching him is out of line. This coming from perhaps one of the most anti-drugs guy you will ever meet.

You must be kidding. You punched your brother because he was doing too much drugs? That seems like a weird response to someone else doing something to themselves. Was he, like, doing the drugs at you somehow?

Ran Rg aggro splashing for 4 Atarka's Command and 3 Become immense at FNM. Swiss: 2-0 x 4, 2-1; T8: 2-0, split top 4. My only game loss was against an Abzan deck. The decks I faced were:
B Waste Not, Abzan Mid, RDW, RG Dragons, Abzan Mid; same RDW guy.
Good to see the deck perform at the PT as well; developed the list without watching any of it.

Me: 0 cards in hand, 0 known cards in deck, catch a glimpse of second card during draw-step, call judge on my self.
Judge: "We'll do this the old fashioned way." Shuffles deck, presents to my opponent, says my penalty is MISSING my draw-step.
Lols ensue from all parties, then I ask since that obviously can't be my penalty and he reassures me it is.
Proceed to lose the game that if my cards came on time would have been literally unlosable. Curb stomp opponent in game 3 for vengeance.

I don't think you want to go all in on an anti-GW deck. You'll just lose to big creature and control strategies.Anyone have thoughts on a viable, flash-in-the-pan shell that can run Drown in Sorrow, HDF, Anger, Archfiend of Depravity and enchantment hate? I know that I'm going to be seeing GW Devotion, red-based aggro and Naya Walkers...Jund would be interesting but the mana seems too ridiculous.
Much of this is SB material...the question is whether there is an RBx shell that can run BB and RR as needed.

Any California players here?
I'm going to SCG LA and want to know what the meta's like. In AZ, UB(g) control was very highly represented last weekend, probably because it wrecks RW. If RW's target #1 and UB(x) is around to fight it, perhaps an all-in deck would be able to dominate. The only problem with this idea is there might be a lot of Abzan and GR (since this last open), which own all-in decks... What do you think?

Win draw loss loss at box tournament to a true FOS 1-2-1 record. Convinced my third round opponent to gimme' the win and we'd split and same with my fourth round opponent and ended up tied in first netting all of us 25 credit each instead of each of them 20 and me 0, lol.
Punted G2 of round 3 which let him have and win G3. Punted G3 of round 4.
Needa' get my head in the game.

3-1 at PR w/ Mardu tokens. Lost a miserable game one in the last round to exacsies including 8 mana to double-pump a high sentinel and a black card (only card in hand) reveal to a Ruthless Ripper from 10->0. Won game 2 on a mulligan to 5, then got wrecked game 3 by outlast shenanigans and greed (Mardu Charm to block a 3/2 into his Abzan Charm for counters).
The black Rabblemaster is okay; the general is phenomenal in swarm decks; the +2/+1 for 4-mana spell was excellent.

I admit that in-game skill is negligible with AIR, but CHOOSING to pilot AIR at an appropriate time and DEVELOPING the deck surgically are two other skills that can put you leagues ahead of other players. Sure, the top 9 cards are the only ones that matter and the order is almost irrelevant or obvious, but if my top 9 cards beat the metagame some high percentage of the time and people aren't aware of this, then it's a good decision.

What rules of thumb do you guys use for building manabases? I.e., hitting your mana for 1-drops, 2-drops, double-colored 2-drops, etc. mathematically we need 16/15/13/12 for single mana on turns 1-4 on the play and ./20/19/17 for double mana requirements, but this is for 90% chances which is likely too conservative. What's acceptable in your experience?
