I can honestly say I've never lost to it playing Burn, but maybe all my opponents are really bad or my 75 is always better than everyone elses. I tend to run a lot more Searing effects than everyone else.

Soul Sisters is actually favorable for burn if you've built your 75 correctly. I don't know why you'd need fancy tech for it.

Is Pernacious Deed worth considering?

Deed is better in Deadguy Ale because it's much better at the attrition game than Jund. If you were playing a less aggressive list without Rabblemaster, I'd consider it.

EE comes in against Elves, Lingering Souls decks, Death and Taxes, and matchups where you want a catchall that can also blow up hateful permanents.

Where do you bring in Spirit of the Labarynth?

Blue decks, Oops All Spells, Show and Tell, Storm, etc.

It's become a popular strategy in decks like Maverick and a lot of Deadguy Ale pilots are adopting the strategy.

The Surgical / Extripate slot was originally Slaughter Games but I found it sloww enough that I never got to cast it.

Trying to tweak it as I see fit. There is a lot of counter top in my meta.

More cards that produce Thopters just spoiled. Also an artifact lord. Also a five mana Cataclysm except its caster gets to choose for everyone.

This set is bonkers and I can't wait until the prerelease.

For instance, if you're REALLY worried about dredge and are playing a black deck, I'd play Nihil Spellbomb before I played Relic of Progenitus.

It really depends on what you're running.

My friend complains about red all the time and how he hates that mono red is always viable and how WotC has it out for blue.

Finally a decent card for Trinket Mage to find.

Dammit, the new green enchantment is awesome. If there's anything I love in this game it's sacrificing creatures for value, and this is a card that could get me away from red strategies in Standard.

It's obviously not as good, but still powerful.

I've been doing eBay. I'm a bit fearful of PucaTrade due to inflation concerns and I know very little about Deckbox beyond there being less fees for sales than eBay.

Has anyone ever sold cards on Deckbox or PucaTrade?

MTGO prices for goblin staples have spiked. Auntie's Hovel was 0.2 and is now 0.8 tix. Same with Goblin Chieftain and Legion Loyalist. Even Goblin Guide is joining in on the fun.

That doesn't necessarily mean that, but I've always thought people were assuming way too much in regards to enemy fetches in the first place. I've been thinking manlands the whole time.

Yeah, Standard card mainly, but pushes Burn as a legit strategy for Standard now. I was telling someone yesterday that the archetype was basically one card away. Now it's something worth exploring.

I completed my foil playset last month.

I have the entire Legacy deck foiled out with the exception of fetches and Sulfuric Vortex. Same with Modern except for three Boros Charm and the shocklands.

As far as new decks go I really like the Kiki Chord one. I'm a big fan of toolbox decks.

Also, most arguments that refer to "privileged" tend to be very offputting and even unbearable to read, but AJ presented his argument in a way that this was not the case here. That's honestly the first time I've experienced that.

I think Lightning Bolt would actually be reasonable. Most of the creatures in the format are either x/2 or x/4, with only Deathmist Raptor and Fleecemane Lion being the relevant x/3s.
