Local market store has a pink hello kitty Dreamcast fully boxed for around $250, now pink aint my color and Hello Kitty aint my thing but there were only 1500 of these made.

Well I bought it, bubblewrap and cardboard inserts are all still inside the box. put it in a bag and its gone in the attic were I will forget its there for years. Think of it as an investment. How one found its way from Japan to the middle of the U.K I dont know considering there was only 1500 made.

Yeah, one of them sold on Ebay for $3000 a few years back, only 50 were made 40 of them signed by Yuji Naka they were given out to Sega employees in Europe on sonics 10th Birthday.

For the hell of it I have decided to make a time capsule with rare/collectable games, for anyone interested here is a list of whats inside.

Pink Hello Kitty Dreamcast.
Sonic Adventure 2 10th anniversery limited edition

Wonderswan with 3 games (1 of the games is a LE Gundam game which comes with 2 stitch on Gundam badges

my local bargain store (or frift shop for you Americans) had six sealed tiger electronic lcd games all of which are nights into dreams (old saturn game) they were selling them for 7 dollars each. Now if you look online they sell for a fair bit more than 7 dollars, needless to say I grabbed all six at f them

Nah i mostly play stuff on PC. wife has an xbox one that i occasionally play co op stuff with her, but i just prefer PC.

unless im traveling, then it's custom firmware psp with NES roms, because im old and boring.

I used to be a member of the PC Master race, but since I went from an hardcore gamer to a casual one from lack of time, I must confess consoles grew up on me. I just don't have the time anymore to install stuff on the PC then going through a boot process and play like half an hour. In a console you're up and running in 1-2min, and that is way time saving.

Hell these days I mostly just play on my 3DS, ain got the time for my PS3 any longer

I'm trying to collect old games but the price barrier sucks balls. Maybe i'm just older but I can remember back 10 years ago when all the Sega/Nintendo stuff used to be way cheaper. Even on my minimum wage job I could buy everything that I wanted, play it, then just sell it back. But nope, cant do that now. Just like with magic, this thing got more popular and prices just sky rocketed with it. What's worse is that I have a Neo Geo AES that I won for cheap on an Ebay auction, but the games are the worst when it comes to prices. I figured I might just get me some ever drives and just be happy with all my consoles.

Also I recently discovered rgb gaming, and it does wonders to all these old games. It's not like before where we were using old crappy quality tv's with rf or composite signals that looked really ugly. Everything now is so much vibrant and just pops. If you are into playing old games then do yourself a favor and research rgb. You will thank me for this.
