So I have a plan for Jan/feb. When I get my taxes I can pay off my 401K loan that will be around $1600-$1800 ish. Which case in a days time I can take up to a $26,000 But I plan on taking a $6000-$7000 loan to pay off over the time of 4 years(I always kill the loan on year 3 though).

So with that in mind I am planning on building a true office set up for the Misses and I as well as build myself a true high end PC. So far the PC is ranging around $3100 from scratch. And I plan on dumping 1000+ on the desk(s) The monitor mounts are like 200 ish each and I need 2 maybe a 3rd. So next few days I am gonna rework and do a new build log with measurements and everything.

Just curious here, wouldn't a standard home improvement loan work
better? Not like you don't have the collateral.

Just curious here, wouldn't a standard home improvement loan work better? Not like you don't have the collateral.

Lower interest, comes directly out of my paycheck before taxes, paying myself back, interest also adds on to the total. Banks around here haven't been too kind to many (lots of loopholes and LOOK Rate goes up)
