Lex Luthor took 40 cakes
That's as many as 4 tens.
And that's terrible.

Y'know, I always wondered how Billy's friends

1) knew the bus driver

2) knew where the field trip was at

3) got there to hang out with the bus driver

Maybe I just need to stop thinking too much about Adam Sandler movies.

Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy. The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour. He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited. That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility.' If your dog gets lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits. You get your ass out there and you find that fucking dog!

The one where he talks about how defining our lives through hopes and dreams means nothing; what matters is what you do and the impression you leave on life; beyond that there is nothing in this world.

I'll dig it up later when I have a chance.

Its a fancy French philosopher way of saying "actions speak louder than words"

It makes sense that the least interesting villain would match up with the least interesting hero.

To be fair I am one of the few people in the current generation who doesn't get superheroes. They're antithetical to my view of the world and of self.

I've never been a Supes fan. The guy has no limits so I've never felt like I could relate to him.

My list of favorites (in no particular order) : Goku, Zero, Batman, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Villains? Deadpool, The Joker, Carnage, and Todd McFarlane era Venom.

No, very much the opposite. What I find admirable are those who perspire and persevere despite the obstacles, despite any advantage and despite any opportunity. Super hero fantasy is very much the opposite for me. I appreciate the romanticism and escapism of the concept, but it leaves me feeling devoid of any real meaning.

I'm balls deep into Watchmen right now. I love the graphic novel and just watched the director's cut of the movie. Now I'm looking to get the Before Watchmen comics. Prequel stories of the individual characters leading up to the Watchmen series. Just found out that there is a collected edition of The Comedian (6 issues) / Rorschach (4 issues) in hardcover and I think I jizzed a little.

The original Watchmen is my very favorite of the superhero genre. It lost something with the screen adaptation, but I was still happy to be there watching it.

I actually think Lex Luther is a reasonable villian and Superman is an interesting character ( See Quintin Tarrintino's theory in Kill Bill 2).

I think it's funny the way British / Australian people say pedophile. It makes it sound like they are into kids feet, which is somehow worse.

I have a long drawn out argument as for why people don't get super heroes and why people find superman boring but my 10min break is over so I'll save it for next time.

I'm not really into superheroes. I liked the new Batman movies, but recently, that's about it. I'm not into cop shows either. So, fantasy vigilante cops don't do it for me either.

If that sounds like something you'd like to be part of, get at me in my PM box.
So I can get a mailing list together without having to work back through a thread that grows so fast. All I need is ham to make a joke Khaos likes and I'll never
find the sign ups...

I never realized that Khaos and I have such predictable behavior!
Predictably unpredictable. I know something will happen but nfi what.
I just want to know one thing:

Who would eat 36 bag lunches!?

And in other news: restringing my guitar, cleaning the neck, polishing the knobs (giggity), cleaning crevices with contact cleaner, and changing batteries in my pickups and stomp boxes was deceptively fast and easy. Fast forward to the rig setup and I got lost for about an hour and half jamming on Iron Maiden and old Metallica. Who knew that jamming on Am I Evil at teeth-rattling decibels could be the best therapy session one could ever have?

nBehold, the beast!
