My wife has very large feet for a woman. Size 12.5 to be exact (10.5-11 male equivalent). She's been looking around for socks to wear at work but couldn't find any her size in any of the women's sections she went to, so she eventually broke down and visited the men's section and was pleased to find an assortment of colorfully-designed men's socks to wear. She showed them to me when she got home and said "Thank God for gay men." I chuckled.
I have no idea why most straight men can't seem to dress themselves, and even those that can do a passable job still fail to have fun
with it.
I resemble that remark.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

For the record I've been known to wear pink and light blue dress shirts on a weekly basis. I guess that makes me metrosexual.
Oh, so what products are you using in your hair?

I'm straight and I have solved the straight man's dilemma of dressing themselves. I only wear black (with the exception of a few pair of blue jeans). Black goes with everything so it's hard to fuck that up. I copied Einstein when I bought my work clothes, for example. I snagged 8 black polos, 5 pair of black jeans, 3 pair of black pants, and a ton of black t-shirts and socks. Also, all of my shoes are black. I'm not Gothic, just practical.

I also dress primarily with dark colors, since I'm fair skinned. I look like a ghost when I wear anything lighter than gray.

Khaospawn knows how it's done.

I only buy the same black jeans year after year. And I almost only have band t-shirts. I've diversified my t-shirt collection a bit lately, I have burgundy one, and a few gray ones, non-band t-shirts even. And hoodies...gray ones, except for one black Biffy Clyro one.

Buying clothes is boring, except when it's new band t-shirts.

Val, moment of honesty here - are you and your wife sasquaches?
Probably. I'm pretty hairy and my wife has to shave her legs more than most women so I guess that's a yes. She doesn't have a lot of peach fuzz though so that's good.

I do not own a white dress shirt. All of my work shirts are red, blue, black, or grey. Unlike most men, I actually do not mind wearing a tie. Of course, mine have dragons, hieroglyphs, griffins, celtic patterns from the Book of Kells, or Spider-man on them. And I adore my Egyptian scarab cufflinks and tie clip.

I like to have fun with my outfits. My wife calls me a peacock sometimes.
