Okay, so when I say that I spent the last 2 afternoon proxying up various Red decks and playing one of my friends against his proxied up decks for a few hours, do I need to take pics and post it so that you actually believe that someone is telling the truth? Do you really think that somebody like me, who obviously has no shame about posting his stupid, drunken antics or terrible relationship decisions for the entirety of DtR to make fun of, have a reason to make shit up for no reason? Especially about something like Magic, no less.MDU at least has video proof.
C'mon, dude. You should know some us of by now.
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

It's still fine. It's not like vs. Rakdos cackler in red decks where it's a 1-drop and you tend to use whatever removal's lying around to kill it early. By turn 3/4, you've seen a couple extra cards and you can be more selective with what you're slinging.
Also, I'm really thinking about RG agro now. Turn 2 rabblemaster seems like a good thing and I like the idea of cutting courser for something more aggressive.

The more I think about it though, I don't think I really question anyone's actual testing/results. But I am starting to wonder how seriously they take it. Like, do some people just play a few games and then come back saying, "This card was fucking BONKERS and I LOVE it"? And then people just take that and run with it? I dunno.
I'm just sitting in my corner testing a bunch of little Red aggro decks and not really liking any of it.

I'm not stopping with 3.
I'm likely gonna end up somewhere in the middle of agro and monsters. I'm just cutting the non-aggressive stuff like courser and Caryatid for Rattleclaw and Rabblemaster/fanatic of xenagos/boon satyr.
I could also see running ashcloud phoenix in this deck, though I think that's 'too cute' when polukranos is probably just better.

Yeah, but I'd rather stick my head up the cow's ass instead of taking the butcher's word.I believe I articulated why Red Aggro sucks some days ago, though thirst's deck looks promising.

I'll admit that's how I felt about Rally the Peasants and Dynacharge. I played very few games with them before going to GP Charlotte with them. I fell in love in Butcher. I am gonna win something with it. But yeah, I always fall for something. MTGO is great for that, because dailies are doable even with dumb cards. The more I think about it though, I don't think I really question anyone's actual testing/results. I'm pretty sure if every DTR member had an invitational card, mine would probably be Midnight Haunting though. It was another card that I just looked at and was like "Whoa this card is really good..."

I'd like for mine to be Hellrider. I pulled 2 of those fuckers in the DKA PreRelease after returning from hiatus (skipped INN for...reasons) and jammed him in every game of Magic I played until he rotated.I'm pretty sure if every DTR member had an invitational card, mine would peobably be Midnight Haunting though. It was another card that I just looked at and was like "Whoa this card is really good..."

I'll be lucky if I can get around to do any more new Standard testing this week. My work week is all jacked up, along with the rest of my Magic buddies' schedules. I tried to get as much in as I could the last 2 days. Fingers crossed for maybe Thusday night.

I think I'm starting to hate my job. Like, who the fuck wants to work the corporate retail grind when there's so little time for Magic activities!?

Has anyone been "testing" any Boros lists? I'm thinking something mostly red, with white mainly for Banishing Light/Suspension Field/Chained to the Rocks. Maybe Iroas?

Not sure how I feel about Heir. Should we not be playing Xenagos walker? Sure he doesn't line up well against Sarkhan or Mantis Rider but who cares?[deck]4 Elvish Mystic

Is this going to be like a Gorillas in the Mist type thing? You're going to live with us in the wild, learn our ways and language, but then sell us out to poachers at the last minute?also if someone wants to make me an official 'FOS' sig that would be awesome.
it should reflect both my disdain of scrumps and my love of memes and trolling
winner gets a rare "Spam thank".
Scrumpers in the Mist....
